I wonder if anything would happen if we tried to lift up the rest of the stones in there origanal position? maybe the most powerful phenomenon would finally take place or probably nothing
@stevenckb Over half the monument is missing. Most of the stones you see lying down are ones that have been pulled down,chopped up & left behind. They did a fair amount of restoration throughout the 1900's and were left alone because it would be folly to try to reerect half a stone. It was a delicate balance of trying to not make it too "reconstructed." They actually worked to a picture from the 1800's and the whole restoration was filmed in full view of the public.
This is so mystical for me. You are so blessed to have such ancient and mystical history over on the other side of the "big pond", dear friend. Jeff and I are absolutely going to get there as soon as we possibly can so you can be our guide. This is great!!
