Holy shit people, it isn't dead it's just on hold for the moment because you know.. modders have lives too, he had a status update last month, and I came across this mod yesterday, looks great, and after reading the updates it sounds like when it is completed, it will look even better. And no, it's not released yet, and he has more than a handful of ships planned according to his original forum post.

How did you get those ropes coded! Is it a scene switch between the ship fighting and boarding? Or do you just switch from the boat to your character?

@RetepTheEyeCandy The ropes were fairly complicated. I programmed some basic rope physics, which wasn't a trivial task in M&B - but I think it payed off because they look better than I expected :)

I can also confirm to the people asking that this wont be released for a good while so don't hold your breath.

I'd definitely like to take this to MP somehow and I'm coding carefully to keep the option open if I can, but I'm focusing on singleplayer first.

my gad thats amazing job ABSOLUTELY amazing! if im not badly mistaken or totally blind, you have cnahged the wep swing animations? you can hit enemy ship to dmg it? you can (hopefully) shot enemy when he swings him self with rope and is ''air borne''? does the boarding scale change when you got this huge ship and enemy has only a small boat so you could swing from upward to down to the smaller vessels?
