No, you're not the only one. Good thing she has a pretty face because her hair is completely damaged and it's not from teasing alone. I'm a stylist, I can't get a good look but it appears she has breakage and all kinds of things going on possibly from drug store/off the shelf chemicals or heat damage. It even looks like she is pulling her hair out. The top of her hair shouln't be that short and uneven.

ok, normally, if i want naturally wavy hair, or bedhead, after a shower while my hair is still damp, i brush it all back and put it in a low ponytail. after half an hour or so, let it loose, and let it air dry, you can use a lil bit blow dryer on the front, but not ont he back, then shake it out. in a while you'll have a look close to this, it ends up like wavyish, messy, but soft. you can use serum too before the ponytail. this works for my curly hair, hope it does for you too! :)

The point to spray that much and then tucking it (one of you had a question about that.) her nice little beehive effect at the crown of her head would not be there if you didn't do all the back-combing and texturizing it. People think that teasing or backcombing the hair creates tangles and tend to freak out, if done correctly you should just be able to brush them out nicely without pulling any hair out..

Hmm... the process was sort of disasterous... it became scrunched and tangly... then some spray of styling hairspray and then rescrunched and combed~ ooh, that's likely to cause root damage... I guess it's done by a pro hair stylist so don't worry much... unless the model complains XDDD

Hmm...I like the process of texturizing the hair, but I don't really like that particular updo. (i.e. I wouldn't wear it personally since it would look strange with my facial shape) Though I can see how I could use the process to create another updo that suits my own personal hair styling needs.
