Because you deserve it, and hey, you were gonna do something for me for christmas, I might as well give you something in return, and well when you watched the amv, you liked it right? I hope this is a befitting christmas gift as it is dedication. Plus without you being there, I don't think this amv would've been completed...lol. Dedicating it to you made it complete.
