So fecking epic, Vergil is such a badass. Devil May Cry 3 is the best action game ever made imo, I was so dissapointed with where the story went in DMC 4.

in the first game you fight this one dude that looks like a demonic angel hes called nelo angel thats vergil under mundus' (the main bad guy from dcm1)control dante fights and kills him but vergil technically died after the end of this game and before the start of the first one. this game is a prequll to the trilogy but in sort yes sadly vergil dies because he couldnt accept his brothers help or way of life T_T

It was never clear why Vergil wanted power, maybe he wanted it to wipe out Mundus for the death of Eva. It was just the extremes he went for power. He wanted Dante out the way because Dante was oblivious to it's power. Dante stoped him because Vergil got crazy about power. I see Vergil as an anti-hero his intentions about his power crave are never really mentioned.

One of the best storylines in a game ever. You really feel Dante's sadness and loss, and you see that there was some good in Vergil after all....

This is what happens between vergil and mundus. Vergil charges towards mundus, mundus shoots several lightning bolts vergil dodges. As Vergil makes his way to Mundus. Mundus crushing him in his hands. So mundus comes with a tuxedo on, with a bow tie and grabs vergil. He crushes vergil and makes him sing the pirates life song. He then puts vergil in his lunchbox, and flies to the moon.
This has to be one of the best storylines I've ever seen in a game. It would be great if they visually remade this game, as even the special edition has pretty pathetic graphics. The game is a little outdated, but it is still awesome.

use you're head 1st of all the amulet has powers, they open the gate to Demon world and are the keys to create Sparda and 2nd do you know if the amulet is light or heavy?
Though Dante detest demons and his father, He is the one who walks in his footsteps. Sparda was a demon who rebelled against his kind for the humanity, and what is Dante doing?...Sort of the same thing. And Nero was just an ordinary guy who later on got somehow demonic power, I thought it was Sparda's magic on rebellion what made the devilbringer...
this is just my opinion but i think the origins of nero is that he was say 'cloned' from the blood of sparda left by dante on vergils yamato. something along them lines

Vergil ultimate goal in DMC 3 is to aquire this power of sparda, and who ends up getting this power is Dante in DMC1 who never cared much about power...ironic isnt it?.
No he didn't, Dante was still missing the other half of the amulet. He didn't gain any power as a result. In DMC1 he does get it and uses the power to defeat Mundus.
What's ironic is how they tried to kill eachother on multiple occasions and then developed a mutual love in the end after it was too late.
I was saying that althought dante never pursued the power of sparda like vergil he was kinda forced to aquire it in order to be able to match Mundus so he actually did acquire the power during this fight, true that he discarded it when fight was over...but in DMC3 he seems kinda not to care much about sparda's power and he trusted on his own willpower to win the battle against vergil.
i guess vergil wants to impress his father by being as powerful as his father....then dante doesn't give a damn and wants to live in the human world without any connections from his father's past....
Secondly, Even in the first DMC, NA uses some sort of fisting/ kicking action towards him, VERY similar towards of what Beowulf is like when you play as NA in Special Edition.
Firstly, Who here think's that Dante SHOULD have left the Beowulf weapons alone for Vergils desire. Infact because you see Vergil 'summon' them in one of the cutscenes, indicating that they've got some sort of 'life-lock' technique. Then during the 'fall' scene when Arkham opens Hell, Vergil actually had a more better chance of losing his O-Katana rather than Beowulf.
from what i've heard it's impossible for Virgil to come BACK because DMC4 is set in between the first and second games. Dante is not the main character ether.
This is even today one of the best and most noble endings to a videogame.

This is what happens between vergil and mundus. Vergil charges towards mundus, mundus shoots several lightning bolts vergil dodges. As Vergil makes his way to Mundus. Mundus crushing him in his hands. So mundus comes with a tuxedo on, with a bow tie and grabs vergil. He crushes vergil and makes him sing the pirates life song. He then puts vergil in his lunchbox, and flies to the moon.

This has to be one of the best storylines I've ever seen in a game. It would be great if they visually remade this game, as even the special edition has pretty pathetic graphics. The game is a little outdated, but it is still awesome.

use you're head 1st of all the amulet has powers, they open the gate to Demon world and are the keys to create Sparda and 2nd do you know if the amulet is light or heavy?

Though Dante detest demons and his father, He is the one who walks in his footsteps. Sparda was a demon who rebelled against his kind for the humanity, and what is Dante doing?...Sort of the same thing. And Nero was just an ordinary guy who later on got somehow demonic power, I thought it was Sparda's magic on rebellion what made the devilbringer...

thats the second time virgil cut dantes hand lol. its stupid how after dante cut virgil and he dropped the sword, the amulet was on tha ground with the peice broken, then all of a sudden, virgil has it in his hand and its fixed perfectly.

Vergil ultimate goal in DMC 3 is to aquire this power of sparda, and who ends up getting this power is Dante in DMC1 who never cared much about power...ironic isnt it?.

No he didn't, Dante was still missing the other half of the amulet. He didn't gain any power as a result. In DMC1 he does get it and uses the power to defeat Mundus.
What's ironic is how they tried to kill eachother on multiple occasions and then developed a mutual love in the end after it was too late.

I was saying that althought dante never pursued the power of sparda like vergil he was kinda forced to aquire it in order to be able to match Mundus so he actually did acquire the power during this fight, true that he discarded it when fight was over...but in DMC3 he seems kinda not to care much about sparda's power and he trusted on his own willpower to win the battle against vergil.

Secondly, Even in the first DMC, NA uses some sort of fisting/ kicking action towards him, VERY similar towards of what Beowulf is like when you play as NA in Special Edition.

Firstly, Who here think's that Dante SHOULD have left the Beowulf weapons alone for Vergils desire. Infact because you see Vergil 'summon' them in one of the cutscenes, indicating that they've got some sort of 'life-lock' technique. Then during the 'fall' scene when Arkham opens Hell, Vergil actually had a more better chance of losing his O-Katana rather than Beowulf.

from what i've heard it's impossible for Virgil to come BACK because DMC4 is set in between the first and second games. Dante is not the main character ether.
