TF2 is more fun. Community-Valve keep adding more stuff. CSS is oh-i-see-you-bang-insta-kill.

But if you have gmod both are good. If your playing gmod rps and other gamemodes CSS is very important because most of servers use their models-textures.

But if you are movie-maker i would prefer TF2 because you can make awesome animations with it.
