I can do this because I tugged and twisted my thumb for about two weeks as advised from my friend. I did it because I thought it looked cool when I was a kid but I regret it now :/

my left hand thumb pops out of place then pops back in to place with a slap to the palm. I can't play my guitar more 30minutes because base of my thumb starts hurting.

it naturally pops out of place with thick guitar necks.

any advise?

I can do the thing you did in this video with my right thumb only but with both thumbs I can pull them all the way back until they touch my wrists. I can also pull all of my fingers forward to touch my wrists. :)

I can do that with both of my thumb.. when I was a kid, but my left one is a little bit stiff compared to the right one.. and after some years only my right one can "90 degree thumb up".. while my left one can only reached 30 degree.. =(

This is not 2 joints, you are simply adducting or opposing the base of the thumb while keeping it extended. It looks weird because we tend to flex our thumbs while opposing it.

I think rather than doublejointed you simply have extraordinary motor control, and potentially some kind of hypermobility.
