  • Star trek the force unzipped.

  • I haven't seen the episode in question, so seeing Data geefully announce, "I can reduce this pumping station.... to a pile of debris!" cracked me up. xD

  • Now I haven't seen this movie, but why couldn't the Federation gather the radiation from somewhere else on the planet?

  • I watched it today, and I enjoyed it.

    Honest opinion stated....

  • Star Trek HISERECTION LMAO! That was a good one!

  • I guess siding with the Ba'ku while trying to relocate the Natives would seem like a double standard if protecting the Ba'ku meant starting a war with the Cardassians. Or did you forget that?

  • This film manages to be even worse than Star Trek V was...

  • This is WAY better than Nostalgia Critic's review.

  • @hassmann2000 To be fair, Nostalgia Critic reviews are only 30-60 minutes long, so he doesn't have a lot of time to really get into the mechanics of a film like Mr. Plinkett can. That said, I thought NC did a fair job with what he had.

  • If I were ever to write a movie script, I would give it to Plinkett to proofread it for plot holes.

  • I cant see how Nostalgia Critic can top this review.

  • @WelcomeGhostsIV Boy oh boy......he didn't.

  • @WelcomeGhostsIV

    He didn't really.

  • the problem is that the screenwriter wrote it as a tribute to gene roddenberry.

  • TNG FILMS+ST09:

GEN: Killing an icon in the worst way possible, destroying an iconic ship, numerous plot woes...what IS right here?

FC: Trek+Moby Dick, as Picard faces his demons, the Borg, in a story with epic scope, character development, and, a few nagging issues aside, it's the best TNG film

    INS: ...Fluff...

    NEM: Data's death/rebirth in B-4 and Picard w/Shinzon help some, but it's not AT ALL a TUC-level send-off

ST09: Like TVH, it's made for fun--a fun rebirth for Trek, now, back to business

  • TOS FILMS:

TMP: Good idea for an episode, stretched thin as a film, far too slowly paced

TWOK: Star Trek idealism meets Shakespearean drama...Trek at it's best

TSFS: We lose the Enterprise and regain Spock...it's an average film, not wholly good or bad

TVH: Easily the most light-hearted of the Trek films, it's a funny, refreshing film to this day

TFF: Shatner takes a big swing and a miss and nearly kills the franchise; worst of them all

TUC: More Shakespeare+a great ploty=A great sendoff

  • i like how its edited to look like data dropped the anvil on the guys leg

  • So somebody answer me: if you are given an order to shoot someone but u know that

this is a mistake or something what do you do?

And you know that if you diseobey that order you will be severly punished?

  • Radioactive what does that mean?

It means don't touch it you idiot!!!

  • Is there a movie he likes?

Or all movies in his opinion suck?

  • @Cheburashka207 Plinkett likes Star Trek: The Star Trek, Baby's Day Out and Kevin Bacon

  • Pokemon: Browns and Beige

  • you are the good

  • I've seen every TNG episode and didn't remember the native american one. Time to watch them all over again.

  • Hey you should try to actually be funny! Then this might be worth watching!

  • @tyraindreams

The review alone wasn't worthy enough for you to watch?

  • 0:32 ''In fact, you could say it's the closest they ever got to capturing the tone of the the TV show on the big screen. But it was really more like a good-two-parter-episode-thing. But that was the problem because this is a movie.''

Remember when ''quotes'' used to mean something, like, oh I don't know, ''word for word''.

  • lol best intro ever

  • Is this the uploader's real voice, or does he make it sound funny on purpose?

  • @SweetZombiJesus

it's put on. he sounds nothing like that

  • Star Trek Hiserrection

    LOL

Fuck off anyone who didn't like this review!

    I love you Harry Plinkett!

  • "Star Trek Insurrection sucks my balls."

    Fantastic movie review.

  • Really not good movie, was a ripoff of TNG tv episodes.

  • Who Watches the Watchers was fucking awesome.

  • I watched this awhile ago...I actually could have sworn it was a two part episode.

  • Best opening line to any YouTube video. Gets me every time.

  • Plinkett speaks for all of us-"Fuck you Rick Berman, you lazy incompetent motherfucker"

Also, they took a jab as Babylon 5. Yes its special effects were cheap, even by the standards of the time, but that wasnt the point. It was about the STORY-enthralling plot, fascinating characters, and good stories. Thats what B5 is, and Star Trek use to be about.

  • "The Indians had more rights as Federation Citizens; but what they didn't have is a milf who wanted to sit on Picard's face and cock tease him." LMAO

  • I still haven't been able to watch this without falling asleep

  • @S1deshowRobP5 This MOVIE

  • I guess Picard is just racist, despite claiming to be beyond that. "I will never make life slightly different for an all white race!"

  • "I like this movie the most because it seems the most like the series. But I don't like it because it feels like an episode in the series. It's supposed to be a movie."

    ....

  • @hotbananapants Ok mah niggs, check it.

What he was saying is that, while he appreciates the fact that the movie goes back to its roots by acting like its show, it just couldn't happen. When a movie based off a show just more or less seems like a longer episode, and nothing felt accomplished, well we don't really like it. It's like a meh factor. Something extraordinary must happen so we can consider it a movie. So yeah, cool that it was like the show, but it just can't work out.

  • Picard is Nicer in the movies because captain kirk changed him in generations (:

  • Why have they never used those neato cloak suites in combat?

  • LIE!!!

  • Original Star Trek films - Awesome

TNG Star Trek films - Shit

  • Star Trek Insurrection sucks my balls!!! XD

  • Insurrection has to be one of the most forgettable movies.

  • it was the same wardrobe designer that did next gen, ds9 and voyager you nob

  • "TV Show Picard--we'll call him Larry" LMAO

  • Insurrection had the best script of the TNG movies! Great review :)

  • LOL. Dude, you are brilliant and hilarious!

  • 2:23 to 2:29

Was Berman high when he said this?

  • "Star Trek Insurrection sucks my balls." LMAO

  • Best review ever =))

  • lol worf's fart

  • Completely forgot about this episode with the Indians. Brilliant review.

  • TV show Picard... we'll call him Larry

  • @Sutidude HAH yes was just gonna comment. Its a bad thing i was taking a sip at this part. I lost it after the larry line.

  • I can't wait till Star Trek Hiserection comes out on theaters!

  • @MexicanTuber It has to be better than the actual Star Trek 10 that was released.

  • he didn't take his emotion chip with him? I thought that once he put it in he couldn't go back

  • There IS a reason why the Indians have to go in that Episode "Journey's End".

    It's simple.

    The Bakku are WHITE!

  • By the way: How was the alien in the episode with the radiactive debris able to read the letters at the suitcase?

  • @VitoPossilipo I saw that ep the other day, he doesn't read it, Data tells him what it says

  • @CaptainGinyu Thank you for the information. (No irony intended, really). I didn´t remember that.

  • Auf dieses Video antworten... But speaking about aliens and scripture: Why do the Son´a use arabic numbers?

  • According to Celine Dion.. ahah

  • I like how Plinkett puts a bit of emphasis on the word "movie" whenever he says it, because these shouldn't be called movies

  • My opinion is that a bad Star Trek movie is still better than 90% of the bull that is put out. That being said I hope Star Trek 12 in 2012 is good.

  • "Star Trek Insurrection Sucks My Balls..." I want that to be my ringtone!

  • lol star trek his erection. i realy was eating cake and tee and now have the stuff on my pc table..thank you*gg*

  • lol admiral BITChayev..you are great. you should make the next star trek movie.

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, you piece the excerpts together so well between the film and the tv show SOOOOOO well to make your point about the contradictions. In other words your editing on this is exceptional. love it.

  • "Milf" is probably the greatest word in the English language. It's just so damn useful!

  • You doctored those scenes with data! I still think I'm going to die laughing...

  • When I first heard about this film, the guy commenting about it also amused it of being racist.

  • My main issue with Star Trek is crime, racism, religion, and war. That will always exist. Instead of hating each other, humans would hate various alien races. Also religion is a very important part of peoples beliefs. That's not going anywhere either. They make Humans out to be weak in the way they approach everything. That isn't how people are. Some people get a thrill out of causing chaos or committing crimes.

  • Comment removed

  • @rbh1138 150 years ago they said France, Spain, and England will always fight each other. Now the chance for war in Europe is about 0.000001%. Religion is already on the decline in highly developed countries, the only exception is the USA. Racism exists only where there are just one or a few clearly defined minorities. The diversity of the UFP is so big basically everyone is in some kind of minority. As for crime there are criminals in Star Trek.

  • PIcard is a racist. This guy proved it. Save the white MILF, fuck over the Indeginous

  • @nishjaxx The Baku aren't humans, the Indians were. What if they were all played by black actors, or Hispanics? It wouldn't matter, as they're aliens. Picard placed aliens over humans.

So if you want to say Picard is biased toward aliens, that would be one thing. But this "racism" thing is dumb.

  • @Dragblacker I can say whatever I want guy. I was only poking fun at the movie anyway. I am a Star Trek fan and to be honest, Picard in my opinion was the best Captain in any of the series's. Great actor in Patrick Stewart as well. Besides, alien or human all people are a "race" of something anyway. Human race, humanoid race. Aliens are just a race SOMETHING whether humanoid or not. There are alot of funny bits in this guys review. All I did was just write one thing he touch...kinda. Happy??

  • @Dragblacker actually Picard placed the Ba'ku over the Son'a and the UFP. And the UFP is not a human organization, let's not forget.

  • @Dragblacker actually Picard placed the Baku over the UFP which is not a human organization in fact most UFP citizens are from other species.

  • Earth tones! Browns and beige!

  • Star Trek Inurrectum

  • 4:19 WA-POW!!

  • 00:16 mort de rire!

  • btw. Celine Dion? I hope it was a joke...

  • @Freddran not too bright eh?

  • what? It's bad when Picard character shows the emotions? It's not android or vulcan

  • tv show picard vs movie picard LOL, so TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!

star trek is just one big contradiction after the other. Technobabble crap to move the plot along. thats why ds9 was the best. it had great characters, real emotions. something like how we would expect we'd still be in the future. And st just shines better when blowing stuff up. All these moral plots just contradict themselves.

  • @CruisIn1500 emotions are for pussies. DS9 sucked. Way too human way too much like today's Earth. Gimme technobabble over any emo scene anytime

  • You really put a legimate case about this movie, because you prove your statements with previous star trek episodes and movies.

  • I'll tell ya what made this movie awesome, Tom Morello made a cameo!!

  • I just listen to the first few seconds over and over.

  • The logic of his arguments is (raise one eyebrow here)....undisputable.

No serious, the way he shows how even the better parts of the series outcorner themselves by maszive! script suckage is hilarious!!!

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!! The Best!!!!!

  • These reviews are really great. They make so many good points, and make them well while keeping the viewer laughing.

But for some reason the shot of Worf with the fart dubbed in at :15 cracks me up more than anything.

  • yeah, at first i thought you review was going to suck..but it was pretty funny and accurate. Thanks for the upload

  • Liked for Admiral Bitchayev, and the other 9:58 seconds of awesome. :D

  • I absolutely love the double standard bit. The juxtaposition of overriding Wesley's principles with Picard defying the Federation is hilarious.

  • "TV-show Picard, we'll call him Larry" LOL

  • I agree with almost all of RLM's reviews...I still really like First Contact, but other than that, yes, the TNG crew were screwed over royally for their moves...

  • Now I liked First Contact, infact it's my favorite of the next generation films. Never saw Generations, Insurrection was a waist of time, and Nemesis.... lets never bring that up again.

  • @nightwishfan1991 Generations is an abomination for simultaneously making the TNG crew look stupid, destroying the Enterprise-D, and killing off Kirk in the worst way possible

First Contact, contrary to what some reviewers on YouTube think, is a great TNG movie, brings a good end to the TNG/Borg/Picard battle, looks great, and while it has a few logical holes the pace more than makes up for it.

Insurrection is like a bad episode of TNG...for 2 and a half hours

    Nemesis was so-so until Data...!

  • @obiwanobiwan13 , First Contact was okay, but I found it unsettling that while one half of the crew is battling for their lives with the borgs and while another half is yukking it up on Earth. And the Borg went back in time to assimilate Earth, the crew went back to undo it. So why couldn't the borg go back again, making this an endless time loop.

  • @PungiFungi because creating a temporal vortext takes a huge amount of energy so you cannot just do it and redo it and redo it and what not

  • @sondano , well it seems they have enough energy to do it whenever they need to. Why can't the borgs simply wait a couple of years and then go back again.

  • browns and beiges! and mother of PEARL!

and browns and beiges and dark browns and light browns and browns and BEIGE!

  • This is crap hysterical.

  • Star Trek: Hiserection :D

  • I liked Larry.

  • Benny fuckin' Hill!

  • Earth tones, people! Everyone wears earth tones! BROWNS AND BEIGE! And Mother of Pearl!

And Browns and Beiges and dark browns and light browns and BROWNS AND BEIGE!!

Everyones gonna be wearing earth tones cause they live on a planet!

  • I have seen a lot of movies based on TV shows and I have come to a realization. For the most part, the TV shows are a timeline of events for the characters in the show. But the movies on the other hand is a full length event that could have happened during the show, but does not fit in the original timeline. For example, in the TV shows last episode, Data is a college professor, but at the end of Star Trek Nemesis, he is destroyed. Its an alternate timeline.

  • @PowerRangers12345 "but does not fit in the original timeline. For example, in the TV shows last episode, Data is a college professor, but at the end of Star Trek Nemesis, he is destroyed. Its an alternate timeline. "

Yes. In one timeline the writers had talent. In the other timeline, they didn't.

  • @60sThru80s Didn't they replace Data with that crazy Data clone?

  • @SpiderWhiteYT

What do you mean by "they"? The writers decades ago that still had talent and could write an actual story, or the non-writers today who cut their script and say "here be the expensive CGI, so we don't have to write anymore"

  • @60sThru80s Sorry, I meant the crew from the last star trek movie.

  • Star Trek: Hiserection lol

  • @Remorselesslymine Whether it's a double standard or not, your video has nothing to do with Star Trek so leave your political agendas at home.

    Therefore: watch?v=fLrpBLDWyCI

  • @Museite Sorry, I don't feel like it. :D

  • @Museite Haha, funny link, but I believe my thumbs up count says otherwise. ;) XD

  • @Museite My earlier comment was unclear. To clarify: I don't feel like leaving my political agendas at home . . . so I won't. :)

  • @Remorselesslymine Be that as it may, your video has nothing to do with ST.

  • @Remorselesslymine But isn't that the point, that he is supposed to be objective given his rank and station, and that he long established character always tried to act that way?

  • BROWNS AND BEIGE

  • 9:31 i want the same exact thing.

  • Sigh... The big source of devision in this movie was being forced to choose between letting a few hundred people stay on some planet they just found by accident a few years ago... Or, usher in a new age of medical science that would save billions of lives and improve the quality of life for several civilizations.

It's not like they were even trying to enslave or oppress those people.... They just want them to get out of the fucking way so they can save billions of lives!

  • @SkyDoginthetube True, but some people just can't function right unless they are whining about how "racist" a token White person is. *eye roll*

  • Hahaha :() Picard risked his career to help a sexy white M.I.L.F. , but told an old indian man in the same exact situation to make a "sacrifice".

  • 7:30-9:30 That was a DEVASTATING edit job.

Picard does a complete one-eighty when its white people who want help.

    : -|

  • @glamourknight the only problem with that is that according to the script the Ba'ku should have looked like aliens with a particular skin pattern. The story was written with that in mind, not with white people in mind. They dropped the makeup thing I think because of the Picard-Anij affair. But that kills the whole Insurrection is racist bullshit

  • Oh man, I never thought about the double standard before haha.

  • Star Trek Hiserection

  • How dare you?? Angry Picard is awesomely awesome!

  • Let me introduce you to my crew

The horny-ass men and women of the U.

    S.S.E.N.T.E.R.-prise

On a continuing mission to spread them thighs

  • LOL Admiral Bitcheyev hahahahaha

  • Why does the narrator talk like a complete moron

  • @JFranzicles maybe because he is a complete moron

  • @JFranzicles His character is an senile serial killer. It's for humor.

  • Does anyone have the names of the NG episodes that are shown in this video (Besides who Watches the Watchers?) They look interesting.

  • @GeminiBreaker The indian episode is called Journeys End in the seventh season

  • @JFranzicles it's part of the character. he sounds like a crazy psychopath while making pointed insights into the film.

  • @kranktank yeah, theres just ironic that someone, who probably isnt really a moron, is calling something stupid when they sound slow. I do like the vid though

  • @JFranzicles I love Plinkett. I've also kinda dated a guy who talks EXACTLY like this...well ok minus the craziness.

  • Star Trek his erection.................holy fuck dude you made me spit my water out.

  • at 0:16 I almost fucking pissed myself, holy shit this guy is a comic genius.

  • Lame production values? What does that even mean??

  • Larry Picard? :D

  • browns and beige!

  • @kranktank And mother of pearl!

  • Comment removed

  • @showerandbath AND BROWNS AND BEIGE!!!

  • The reason why Picard violated orders in Insurrection is because the Son'a were Dominion allies. They wanted the Bak'u planet to construct a new Ketracel White facility. Picard violated his orders because the admiral was obviously a Dominion spy and knew that in the grand scheme, aiding the Dominion was not justifiable by the Prime Directive.

Ceding the planet of Indians to Cardassia was to avoid war after the end of the Bajoran occupation. Wasn't right to Trail of Tears 'em, but necessary.

  • "...and a budget smaller than an episode of Alf."

    Nearly shat myself.

  • is the M.I.L.F stifler's mom like really younger and not gross

  • So then Worf had a purple laser cannon.....

  • But Picard's situation is a little different from Larry's. Like you said, the Indians were Federation citizens which meant that the planet was under Federation jurisdiction and obligated to follow its laws. Assuming the Federation charter treats a Treaty the same way the US Constitution treats a Treaty, the Treaty's rules take priority over the Constitution. Here, these people and their planet aren't affiliated with the Federation whatsoever. Therefore these don't seem to be in conflict.

  • "By the way, this random episode of Next Gen is better than all 4 movies combined" TRUTH, lol!

  • @joeshab123 Absolutely! Loved that episode!!

  • I LOLed so hard when you did the gay voice

  • Star Trek Hiserection

  • Suddenly starfleett doesnt care they'll be wiping out all life on the planet. The radiation medicine sounded sketchy, isn't it more logical to set up a Risa-like resort for sick people on the planet? just visit the planet until your healed, with its pristine environment.
