It took about an afternoon and a half of playtime, though I took a break for a few weeks in the middle of making it. ;)

It looks like you used a hacked version. :/ I don't know if the version you used has the instructions at the beginning, but in fsk's version it tells you that lines drawn from left to right act as floors and lines drawn from right to left act as ceilings.

you need to draw lines left to right always even when you try to make him go backwards ^.^ a line drawn right to left is a "roof" meaning you can only hit it when u hit it from below. That is why loopty loops work ^.^

Though the instructions say that lines drawn from left to right are floors and right to left are ceilings that is a bit confusing (especially when the lines are vertical) I prefer to think of it this way: when you draw a line imagine it as a view from above and then imagine yourself walking along the line in the same direction you just drew it; the left hand side of the line will appear solid to linerider (a floor) and the right hand side will appear transparent (a ceiling)

this will probably confuse you more than help, but i think of it this way. move your mouse in a counter clock-wise motion. everything inside is rideable. and you will pass through if you come from outside into it. or the other way around .

Would you mind sharing some of your techniques? How did you put the line right where the sled will be. Unless the simulation can be paused and let you continure the editing with the sled still on the screen, it is almost impossible to put these line accurately.

Check out my jump landing tutorial. If that doesn't work for you, I've heard that some people use tape or dry erase markers on their screens to find the place where the sledder would land :)

Some things are hard to show in tutorials, like flips and jumps, because they are difficult to do consistently and involve a lot of saving and reloading.

Anyways, they aren't anything special; they're just very small ramps. There is a minimum line segment length, and to get a ramp smaller than that you have to have part of the line overlapping the one before it.
