A work of art...this is my third comment i keep commenting because i cant get over the sheer brilliance of these swords...i used to do martial arts and some of the communal swords were...below standerd...if i could have wielded one of your swords for training i would have been honoured :)
This one reminds me of one of my projects. I made two stuba out of bronze. I mixed the bronze with just a little zink, so it gained a more gold/brass-ish color. Then i polished them so the deep areas were dark and the creatures bright and shiny. It ended up with one katana tsuba and one tanto tsuba. The picture is two foxes, chasing each other. They're not nearly as good as these ones though. This one is just evil in its beauty!
I used to own a Musashi Deep Sea Dragon; But this is clearly a much better quality weapon; And by name, apparently holds a higher dominion over the element! XD
Thanks Shadowhowler... If I were howling at a Full Moon on a dark n' dreary night, I'd want you standing ready to protect me with this Sword. It's freaky sharp. Werewolves Beware ! Haz <--never steps in shadows :-)
I love this katana but one thing kinda sticks out to me that I dont like. I really dont like the Kashira. Its seems to be pulled down alittle too much. If I was to get this though I would replace it with something better but close to it. BUT the katana is very beautiful. This is one I will definately buy for sure.
Robby... I was wondering that very same thing. Is Jeimuzu speaking to the kashira? Or the fuchi ? Maybe he'll read this and tell us which... cause I examined the sword and have no idea what (in Jeimuzu's own words) a "pulled down" kashira looks like or means.
That's way too funny Viking ! Maybe even dangerous...especially when there's a whole-lotto-swordsmen that would just love to help you get rid of that left arm of yours !!! I do get your drift though. Thanks for commenting. Haz
it's only recently, since last year, that I've gained a keen interest for oriental weaponry. there's just so much to learn that i don't know where to start. you have a fabulous collection, thank you for sharing.
My pleasure Phoenix Imperator ! Might I suggest you join a forum such as UBC on the Tube (United Backyard Cutters) or any other similar forum where you can glean information from postings and various opinions on swords & swordmanship. Haz
thanks, I'll check it out. I joined Sword Forum International awhile back and even bought some books, but it's an expensive hobby ... thank goodness for libraries.
Thanks MOUNTAINOUS & BAMBOO... (Haz is lazy-n-out by answering 2 comments with 1 reply) !!!! When the time comes, and it will, I'm going to repay you both... for your valued support and kind comments. Thank you very much!

I'm thinking about selling my left arm to the black market so I can buy that.
It would be worth it...
