Well... I use multiple audio tracks, lol! Nah, seriously... I dunno really, there's no rules. Most of the time I will use 3 to 5 tracks, depending on what I want and the harmonies. Sometimes I double the lead one octave apart. Here I used some new techniques like polyphonic chords through the talkbox, to make some harmonies sound grittier, more like DeVante Swing's stuff. Hope that helps;-)

They are both the same synths... Only the Ion has more knobs and wheels which makes it probably more convenient. I thought I could never do without my trusty DX100 but finally I like my Ion for talkboxing. And I like it a lot! ;-)
