Sounds like that Korg has improved the acoustic piano as it sounds great. I like that Korg is one of the few that has a touch screen, unlike Yamaha Motif series. Only Korg, Roland and Wersi has color touch screen technology.

@patsaxon Still a crappy resistive touchscreen with no multitouch support. Even the cheapest smartphones nowdays have capacitive touchscreens with multi touch support.

Hy everyone!!! I am Crystynelu from Romania.I have a question about this kronos.first,i want to say that is owesome...i love it...but in present i have a korg triton studio and i was thinking:-?? y have made on my hard on studio a set...(combi,program etc...and i have made tones and a lot of things on my set...and my question was that my set from studio works on kronos?(load the set of studio in kronos?)...or kronos can not load the set from another model ? Please ask me of the question..Thanks!

I heard Kronos needs about 2 minutes to boot up. Could it be improved if it's true? Quick starting is one of better point than software. I sometime switch on hardware to check the notes of some phrases. I boot it up, check it up, and shut it down. It needs only 10 second or so.

@bukuroprince Yes it takes about 2 minutes to start up. But considering it has over 12 gigs of sample data compared to the 800 odd mb of the motif... It's worth the wait.

@lordmusician i think korg m3 is better this dont have any pad keys :-O those where you can assign chord :-(

@HaatoSK it actually has but is on the screen function, instead of a button, but that doesnt make M3 better then the kronos just for that cause, the kronos contains everything that m3/oasys has ,plus all the synth engines, the only thing you could say is hte kaosspad function of the M3 that you touch the sceen and create diferent sounds..the kronos doesnt have that function

@lordmusician Well i like it more with buttons but yea i believe this is great keyboard but i dont see so many functions as in korg m3 .. :-O doest it have karma and so ? and what about the price ! it must be really expensive..

@HaatoSK it has the same functions that the M3 providesand trust me when i say better :), Definately has karma and the price will be almost identical to the new models when they come out, for example in uk when a great keyboard is released with 88 keys, lets just say roland fantom g8 it comes around £3000 so the kronos 88 keys will be in that range, the only thing as i said kronos wont have is hte Y to X funtion like a kaosspad, but the rest kronos will have more then M3 I promise you
