  • Hah, seems I got screwed on my 87 Power Ram 4x4. Spent $850 on it, underside is covered in oil and it runs like crap. 143k miles

  • i have an 89 ram 50 sports cab shouldve of kept it they are beasts

  • lol i have a 89 dodge ram 50 with 64000 miles on it bought it for 600

  • how many miles did it have when it lost compression? how many miles did you get out of it yourself? just out of curiousity..im going to look at one tomorrow for 600..has 180k on it. everything is in decent shape. strong engine and trans. what do you think?

  • @zmh1988 I got about two months of use out of it - the head gasket leaked - the seller had poured in a bottle of stop leak. I did the same knowing it was on borrowed time. It ran alright until it just flat quit one day. It served its purpose. I had it crushed - the frame rust was too severe and I couldn't sell it to anyone with a clear conscience.

  • mine is a dodge ram 50 1989 5 speed lol and no body seems to have one

  • my uncle has a Ram 50 Sport with 2.6L 5spd... he's turning it into a 5th wheel tractor to haul a custom trailer for his mobile motorcycle repair business.

  • Love my dodge ram50 their that cylinder problem but got it fix and she's running beautifuly also those babys will help your gas problems too

  • They're amazing trucks.. I have an 87' Dodge Ram 50 Custom. Came straight out of Japan. 5 speed and kicks some major ass. I ain't never getting rid of my girl. Just got her a couple months ago. Replaced master cylinder.

  • @DevilishDemonDog Let me guess all the fluid leaked out of the reservoir?? Same thing happened on my 89 Ram50...

  • @sonofjabba Haha yeah actually... I wonder if it's a common problem..

  • @DevilishDemonDog Yeah The Master's are Uber Cheap.... These trucks are also OLD......

  • @sonofjabba Indeed. Now I'm having issues with the fuel pump. I'm hoping it's just the filter.

  • @DevilishDemonDog ITS ALWAYS THE FILTER. HAHA. Same as a Mitsubishi L200

  • @09204418448 Yeah..xD I just replaced it and now my truck is running significantly better.:)

  • @DevilishDemonDog LOL. This Piece of Shits Just Keeps On Going! Fucking Fast Engines Too.

  • @09204418448 Definitely. Plus it's so unique because not many people have a RAM 50 or Mitsu truck.

  • i have an 89 i got for 500$ and i love it to death

  • i got an 87 dodge dakota which the dakota is the biggest of the small trucks and always has and i love her

  • I have one just like it red and everything, it has been restored tho and mines a manual transmission. Good little truck!

  • yeah! ram50 PRIDE!!!!!

  • Bought my 1991 2.4l auto for 300$ with little rust a 70K. Since then I swapped a 5 speed and did cosmetic things but it has been the WORST reliable vehicle I have had but thankfully parts are cheap for it.....

i have a burnout vid on here titled killer burnout, red mighty with a rollbar

  • @starion85mitsu you are doing burnouts with a 19yr old ricer and you are complaining about reliability....RRRRRRiiiiiiiiight.

  • @kenfo0 even before I burned out it SUCKED. Got shit MPG when all I ever heard was 24mpg I got like 15mpg max. nutless turd, my gayass 89' SOHC carbed Prelude is faster and more reliable

Yet I want mine (or another one) back so bad just because it was a badass truck...

  • i have 90 ram 50 that i got for free. mine is fuel injected 5 spd with about 106k miles, im wantin to put a new motor in it but it works for now, not bad for free

  • i dont know if the carb are as hard to find on an 88 like my 84 but if they are when you go to scrap it you should try to sell it

    might be worth it

  • in my opinion these trucks are one of the best import trucks for their time. i bought a 92 ram50 for $250 and so far its the most dependable vehicle ive ever owned. they are rare as hell here in SW pennsylvania.

  • I see two in my town regularly - one has over 300,000 miles on it. Mine was rusted out from up north and not well cared for at all. There's one for sale I'm going to look at tomorrow.

  • ...Is that a common price? Because that's exactly the price I paid for my '85 Dodge Ram 50.

  • i have an 89 with 350,000 miles on it and i actually just pulled my tranny today for a minor rebuild. normally i would say do what you can to keep these trucks out of the junkyard but yours my friend was too far gone. i cant even get upset. thats a real shame.

  • The truck lost compression in Mid April. The frame was too far gone to sink any money into it, so I had it crushed.

  • wow what a deal

  • just biught an 89 with no rust, not a bad truck
