sounds great ...which set of strat pups is this ...assuming they are from V V G ...what they had on their site appeared to be only 6.1 ohms generally...I believed they were hotter ? or do they custom wind them ...what are those in your blue axe you play here? see ya
Amazing tone!!! What are the sonic differences between the Novaks and the Fred Stuart pup? What caps do you use (.22 or.47)? Thanks for your time. p.s. ever play close to Ohio?
I prefer .22 but .47 is cool too. I use no-load pots so it does not make a difference unless I engage the tone control.
The Stuarts are more ballsy and have more vintage vibe. They are full of character, and spits every note out of the guitar. I love them and use them in every guitar I make.
Awesome Jacob! Great update with the Fred Stuart pups. I'm gonna plug that vid into my Fred Stuart blog post. Spoke to Jason at VVG who turned me on to Fred's ToneQuest interview.

The key to the tone is the guitar faces. :) Seriously though, that sounds amazing! Subbed...

In my experience, the WGS are smoother and overall more musical... half the price too, strangely!

Call Henry @ RedPlate amps. He'll know, and he even might send you a demo to try out if he has one available! Thanks for the compliment.

Sounds great as always. A signature model??? Very very cool. Do you know if anyone in the Boston area has one, I'd love to check one out in person?
