If you buy a game from the "App Store," it will not work on an iPod Nano. App Store games only work on iPhones and iPod Touch's. If you want to buy a game for a "click wheel" ipod then you must go to the click wheel game section. Sorry to tell you, but you just bought something that doesn't work on your type of ipod, assuming you have a nano.
Damn i love the sound it makes when you shake to shuffle... and with the iPod touchOS 3.0, shake to shuffle was added (you must be out of your mind if you think i bought it. torrents are your friend).
Ifs kinda hard to make it shuffle since its much heavier... letting it slip out while trying to shuffle is a bad idea...
Yeah bumping it against something is really effective because the accelerometer detects when it jerks back and forth not when it bobs. So hitting it on something stops it quicker making it switch!

No, I haven't heard that one yet, but I know it has a high definition display. I have an iPhone, and I usually don't have a problem with videos. If it's a movie or TV Show, It will be fine, because it's automatically re-calibrated for the screen, unlike Youtube videos. If you download a Youtube video, and put it on, you might have some problems, but overall, it doesn't effect the video in any way, and just makes it seem like a smaller screen, but still the same quality. Hope that helps.
It does depend on the size of the subtitles, but my guess is that they would be fine to read, unless you were showing it to a crowd of people, it would be harder for everyone to see, but it is inetended for someone to watch alone, not with people standing over their shoulders. I am popping by the Apple Store in a few days, I'll check it out and see how well it works.
Sorry for not getting back, I went to the Apple store, and held it in my hand, and saw that they had "Tora Tora, Tora!" on it. I watched it, and since it's in Japanese, It had subtitles, I found it great to read, because it has a bright screen. I hope that helps you decide if you want one. BTW, what is your favorite one of the colors???
Just got one, it's much better than their 3rd gen "fattie." It's back to the origional size and feel but even better. Lots of great new features built in. My only complaint, charging with my monster cable car RF adapter is not supported. That sucks, now I've gotta buy a new one of those! GRRR.
That's awesome! I am thinking of adding one to my collection Apple Products. The same thing happened with my 3G, so I had to buy another car adapter. Apple does great when updating products, but doesn't always think about other 3rd party features. Send some videos of you and your iPod, because not many people have these yet because they were just released.
Just an update... I've been playing with the Genius feature and I really like it! It's helped me create some great playlists so far and pull up music I haven't heard from my collection in a while. Very cool new feature of iTunes that can be done on the iPod as well!
The genius feature is pretty cool. I love it, but on iTunes, it always recommends songs I don't have, so I prefer just using it on my iPhone, because it finds what I already have. I think they should come out with "Shake to Shuffle" for iTouch and iPhone. Thanks for commenting! :)
I agree, why pay even more for this just because of an accelerometer. It's screen resolution isn't as different as the iPod nano 2nd generation. or you could just pay $29 more dollars from the 16 Gig and get a iTouch.
Very True. The new Nano's come in 8GB and 16GB. But you could just pay an extra $29 to get the 8GB iPod Touch. But it is neat to say that you have one of the most innovative Mp3 players in your pocket.

yes i was thinking about that, for me there are only two things that make the nano 4g better:
1: the colors, so amazing
2: shake to shuffle
the thing is that my ipod touch doesnt have eithier of those
