  • ah the good old days, when trains used to be orange-coloured

  • Where are now?

  • Awesome classic railways of the local transport by train!!!

  • What replaced the service, For e.g When london midland took over central trains the class 170 to liverpool lime street was replaced with class 350's

  • @badboiant29

Class 320's covers most North Clyde Line services along with Class 334's and Class 318's. The Class 334's are supposedly the replacment.

  • class 303 s are preserved i think you will find some at the Bo-Ness and kinel railway in Scotland

  • @teddystorm1 there is 1 there but it is very rusty

it is in the yard next 2 the station

  • their is 2 303s there where are they now

  • @aaron1todd1

Both units here have been scrapped but a full unit has been preserved (303032) at Bo'ness Kinnels or something!

  • Where is it at 6:11?

  • @Sugababeslover

    Helensburgh Central

  • Nice video, good memoris of these! :D

  • Great Video, 5 Stars! and Merry White Christmas!

  • Why was the 318 at 0:15 a "SPECIAL" unit?

  • This was just a standard ECS working - I think that sometimes they just put anything in the destination blind to say that it is not a passenger working

  • Pause at 5:06 - someone's been trespassing!

  • i pure miss see class 303 at glasgow central long with 318 and 314 i what class 303 back in glasgow man

  • If you look at a vid from the 90's, you will see that the 303's are looking very very old. You can hear at 1:12 the old noises made. The front of it is very ugly too. Shame but they served their time well.

  • Yeah really don't know what it's all about with those pipes and stuff on the front lol.

  • @Sugababeslover I think they're quite pretty, actually. Shame I never got to travel on one before they were withdrawn.

  • I didn't know that the 334's were around in 2002.

  • They were, because they replaced 303s.

  • Amazing video! Added to my favourites. Wanted to find the last 303's and old 318's. Cheers!

  • Yeah the old 318s were much better. Down here, we still have similar units, the 317/6s, they have the same body but 2 + 2 seats.

  • Used to get them from shettleston to airdrie every weekend in the late 60s early 70s as we went to my grandparents in airdrie. Also got them into Queen Street.

All that changed in 1973 when we moved to forfar and boy do i miss them.

  • Thanks alot for uploading this video you don't know how much this means to me:)

Used to go on these trains all the time great things BRING BACK 303S!!! SCRAP 318S

  • 303 my fav emu ever! great capture added to favs!:)

its a national disgrace that only one 303 (a mixed set at that) was kept. and the 311 even in worse state at coatbridge

  • You're right there.

The 311 looks really bad. The windows are different and the livery isn't even Scottish!

I aint to bothered aboutt he 303 if i'm honest. I think it's good to be a mixed unit. Shows of both liverys. However, I know whatcha mean lol!

  • fantastic video you captured the moment and time 5stars

    Adam

  • Great Vid Mate 4 Star Added to Favs =D Was So Sad To See The 303's Go =(
