By the way, I've just started scratching & I think the shop might have ripped me off...I paid €34 for the 2 copies, don't know how much that is in us dollars...but are battle records always that expensive? picked up the super seal 3D - not as great a record as the original super seal but the cover and blue/green vinyl looks insane!

also as luck would have it, the marbling effect has a black marker just where the 'aaah' starts in line with the needle!

decent kit is essential,if you spend £300 on decks and a mixer u'll just realise in a few months that u should have spent £800 - with decent decks and a mixer ur good to go takes a lot of hard work but qberts diy dvd and others like this can really help...or if u have someone who can teach you. I had to teach myself cuz no one round here is into it which makes it hard to get motivated to progress sometimes.
