This does not look like a car worthy of paying $40,000 for...it looks like the new exunox (or however you spell it) it's small and ugly...tell me why I would pay this when I could buy a lexus instead? gimme a break government motors...
that kind of sucks...I was actually hoping for Cadillac to do good with this one. 17.5mpg just won't cut it, especially with AWD. Our RX350 manages 19-22 on the highway and that's with AWD. Plus it's bigger on the inside, has a more powerful engine and accelerates quicker.
This is a dissapointment in EVERY way. It has neither performance or class. I'd rather have an Acura MDX with it's 300HP engine and Nurburgring tuned suspension for a softroader or the upcoming Jeep Grand Cherokee for a true off and onroad capable SUV.

It's using the same wheels and rubber as are on the base model STS now. I'm sure if you go to a dealer the higher trims have a better wheel selection.

I'm very serious. Its an edge which has sold tons because it is very good but more up scale interior and a better exterior imo. What's the last ford you have been in? They are amazing and I would take one over any toyota/honda any day.
That's a bad move from GM. From chaging it to rear wheel drive to front wheel drive (that's just backwards). I undrestand that they try to keep the price down, because front wheel is cheeper. But it didn't help the gas mileage though. I don't think that previous owners that have the older SRX are going to get the 2010 model. Sad thing is my 2008 Subaru Tribeca has AWD and get the same gas mileage as the 2010 Caddy SRX FWD. Old saying goes "If it's not broken, don't fix it" Thanks alot GM!
FWD RWD and AWD generally have little bearing on the fuel mileage for a vehicle. generally RWD and AWD have lower numbers because they are performance platforms.

I understand that...but, if Caddy wants to still compete with Germ. and, Japs. luxury vehicles..., they're still going to have to combine MPG with performance! GM could've atleast made it powerful enough to go 0-60 around 6.5 secs. or, something! When Lincoln bring out the MKT with, it's new 300+hp. Ecoboost V6 engine..., the SRX isn't going to stand a chance!

but the MKT eco boost with navi costs almost twice the price of SRX... n the thrid row seats doesnt even fit adults at all cuz there is no head room, only kids can sit there, cuz most adults would need to bend they head downward to just fit in

Im still not sold on GM s new products or American manufacturers, I want to support North American car manufacturers but they still havent made anything that you really can follow behind and be proud of. Not to say they dont make good products, its just seems that their always behind in one way or another. I still beleive though that someday theyll be top notch back where they used to be, sadly i think its just going to take a few more years of trial and many error......

that kind of sucks...I was actually hoping for Cadillac to do good with this one. 17.5mpg just won't cut it, especially with AWD. Our RX350 manages 19-22 on the highway and that's with AWD. Plus it's bigger on the inside, has a more powerful engine and accelerates quicker.

This is a dissapointment in EVERY way. It has neither performance or class. I'd rather have an Acura MDX with it's 300HP engine and Nurburgring tuned suspension for a softroader or the upcoming Jeep Grand Cherokee for a true off and onroad capable SUV.
This caddie doesn't even have it in the looks department.

That's a bad move from GM. From chaging it to rear wheel drive to front wheel drive (that's just backwards). I undrestand that they try to keep the price down, because front wheel is cheeper. But it didn't help the gas mileage though. I don't think that previous owners that have the older SRX are going to get the 2010 model. Sad thing is my 2008 Subaru Tribeca has AWD and get the same gas mileage as the 2010 Caddy SRX FWD. Old saying goes "If it's not broken, don't fix it" Thanks alot GM!

FWD RWD and AWD generally have little bearing on the fuel mileage for a vehicle. generally RWD and AWD have lower numbers because they are performance platforms.
