I was doing Free Hugs (by myself), and I was quickly joined by a random church I had never heard of. After a while they started telling me that my views were backwards, and that I should be spreading the love of Jesus, not my own love. WTF? (Sorry about that, I'm in a ranty mood) #RantRantRant

And I need to clarify that it's not your discomfort for christianity that makes it hard to respect you, its your stereotypical attitude towards the music. It would be like me saying that all secular music sucks. No it doesn't ALL suck, a lot of it is quite good, just like Christian music. You just haven't been exposed to enough of it. Look up As I Lay Dying (one of the best metal bands EVER)

I didn't realize that that happened. When I went in ...2004? I went with Damian and Dave and...I don't know, we didn't need to pretend or anything. We just wanted to worship and see awesome bands. I see that sort of thing happening at Young Life excursions. It really drove me crazy when I was a leader and we had to go pull kids out of the woods. Not that I was doing the pulling. HAVE FUN.
