Oooookk.... Nice taebek or watever how it's spell.. Oni the stance is too much o.o Im a 3rd poom in tkd N I past my 3rd poom exam when I was 10years old :D now 13 already.
worthwhile they would have enough respect not to hate on other tkd practioners, tkd must have different attitudes in other countries, we learn to encourage all...
I am a black belt 1st dan in taekwondo myself i think this kid is good he is sharp and has good kicks and flexibility but i agree his stances are too long
I'm 4th Dan WTF...I didnt like it, stances too long and timing very different to what I am used to. It should flow and not have huge slow sections. Also there are double movements in side kicks where he adjusts his balance and front foot often not facing forward in front stances. Too many point deductions to be marked high. I'm sure there are others who like this form...just not me.
I think the movements were entirely to slow. What I hate about poomse is they make them unrealistic. I know it is for show yet I detest forms. However the balance and extensions of kicks was very good. I also have seen the spining move done diiferently. yet all Do-Jangs seem to be different.
absolutely terrible... i am a judge, and a competitor that uses Taebek. the stances were too long, the weight in the back stance was totally off. Then the first 2 blocks were done completely wrong - you do not raise your hands that fast, and put them down that slow! I am a 3rd Dan myself. And am currently European champion using patterns Taebek and Sipjin!
The *timing* of the movements may seem a little different from what we're used to, but the poomse is done with great precision. Congratulations - GREAT work!
What's that? I have never seen the Taebek like that. You know the way of it but all stances and the techniques are false. This is not even the old form... I will response a video check it out.
I meant it was very "unusual". I have not seen anything like that before. But I also notice they tend to do things differently in the US :). I think your movements are very good, it's just that it might not be to the WTF or Kukkiwon standard.
I've posted a copy of my rendition of Taebek & Pyongwon. Of course that might not be to other people's liking as well.
Hmm .. that's the weirdest rendition of taebeak I've ever seen ? I assume that was taken in the US ?? The Yanks likes to do things "differently" dont they :) ??

Good form, Different but very good,
if these 3rd and 4th dans commenting were
worthwhile they would have enough respect not to hate on other tkd practioners, tkd must have different attitudes in other countries, we learn to encourage all...

100% right, besides if EVERYONE in the entire earth had the same type of movements it would be awkward lol.

i like it. really nice and fluid, but has the necessary snap.
and for the two people beneath me, i'd like for you to post a video of what your tae baek looks like so we can do a comparison.

No one beats Grandmaster KyTu Dang.

It's not fair to compare others to Ky-Tu Dang because he's way too good.
