People get many infections and diseases from blood. They only have a few categories for blood-type A+, A-, B+, B-, O+,O-, (I think these are all of them).They test for these types only. But ACTUALLY,there are 500 separate components to check ,and could NEVER match. It's too costly to do. 5% of Aids is caught in blood.Even all this, we LISTEN to Jehovah God in the bible he says do not eat blood-Genesis9:4; Leviticus 3:17,7:26:17:10,13,14; Deuternomy 12:16,23;Acts 15:20,29;21:25

I've never fainted after giving blood but one time i got internal bleeding and half my arm turned a different colour. It was pretty scary.

I'm donating my pure, never STD'ed, never drugged, never steroided (w/ the exception of like 5 drops in my eye after I got LASIK), never smoked, never drugged, never DRUNKED blood in 3 weeks for like the 7th time =D

@cremebruleec most donors faint after their first donation. i did, and i've been back after that and i felt completely normal after these. if you do go back take plenty of fluids before and continue after. it worked wonders for me :)

i tried giving blood yesterday it was my first time but i couldn't cuz my iron is too low, 11.5 it has to be at least 12.5 or more

red meats, greens and cheese all can increase your hemoglobin in your blood.
