personally I would usually be against the modernization of any song, but it's apparent that you're chock full of talent. rather than go at it alone, your voice would be put to better use in a full band cover of the song. and screw 'good form'. there's tons of musicians who don't play by the rules and if they did, many different techniques and styles wouldn't exist. this is a great cover and I wish you much luck.
