Can this propagation from cuttings be done anytime of year or does it only work when the plants are dormant? thanks from Idaho

Thanks very much for your message. Actually a few others mentioned something similar, never know, thanks for the idea. The the quality of the videos is really due to Adam who is filming, he is really good at what he does.The propagation you saw in the video requires the plants be dormant. In fact after I cut them we put them in a cooler for a while just to convice them it was cold outside. There are other kinds of grafting though that can be done differently.

@oneacrewine my dad is giving me a ton of different cutting from utah that im going to experiment with to see if i can get them to root. maybe i will put them in the freezer for a couple of weeks (my wife wont like that...lol) before i do this procedure......just a thought. well trial and error this year. looks like the video said they did it feb or march. thanks again for the great info.
