  • I think it was the Chinese that Ford (an American company) sold the Brits out to... Or maybe that was another company I'm thinking about... Oh well, money is money I suppose!

  • Comment removed

  • An eye watering trouser dropping experience for the client!!!

  • Take notes boys & girls, that is an actual hemi right there.

  • @ceccoville this will increase the compression ratio depending on how much material you remove,

  • Same problem as bmxer193 this video stop all the time & become black for no reason i wonder why?

  • is this the process to raise compression ratio?

  • Either my screen ran out of ink or the rest of that vid was top secret?

Jag is a british made car which Ford Motor Company bought in 1989-90 then was sold in 2008 to another company

  • MOE TOO.

  • yeh you have to run coolant its anti freeze too so should be better in winter

but flush your radiator first by removing the bottom hose( easyest if your not the best with cars) then stick ur waster hose in the bottom hole so that the water is going backwards an it should turnout alright i cant be botherd explaining haha

  • 1- As to the spelling of the metal. Its a matter of choice- we coined it first, so our spelling is beyond reproach. If the americans wish to rename it, that is up to them. I do think the US way would be harder to pronounce.

2- I dont see the dispute over pronunciation of 'Jaguar' The UK way- splits-- Jag-u-ar. This ties with the abbreviation Jag. The US-- Jagwar or Ja-guar. Is legitimate but not authentic- it is after all a British brand. Just as Renault is pronounced en francais- Reno.

  • John . . 1:58 yr vids gone messed up! Just getting like a sound check noise and after a couple of seconds black screen . . ? : (

  • The brits have no choice but to kiss our asses. Thanks for that. Next time try to speak the AMERICAN-ENGLISH , not the outdated 19th century english. That would be good.

  • wtf?? would we want to speak american english if we are the original ones, PROPER ENGLISH!! not ur dumb shit american english, americans kiss their own asses. And how the fuck are we 19th century??

Fat american burger 1/4 pounder with double cheese bastard. Ponse.

  • The stroke of this engine certainly is longer than the bore, it's an undersquare engine designed for high torque/low RPM (under 6000) performance.

  • Oh the ride that configuration offers... *dreams*

  • remember everyone listen . CHANGE YOUR COOLANT. aluminum will not pit like this

  • Now that's what I call combustion-chambers, I hope the stroke is longer than the bore.

  • you arent talking to me are you?

  • owned!!!

  • you fucking americans!!!

it isnt spelt jagwar its jaguar jag"U"ar get it right or fuck off

  • hee hee, you know ford, and american company, owns jaguar right? :D too bad you brits dont know how to manage your businesses

  • You do know that ford doesn't own jaguar any more. and financially FORD isn't doing so well.

  • Amazing how things change. Once the British car industry led the world, then it declined. Now the US model T formula is not working (mass production,) whereas the hi tech niche UK car market is doing well. If the XJ follows the XF, then jaguar could one day take on the germans economically as well as in terms of quality of output.

  • It declined for a multitude of reasons, and sadly there isn't a whole lot left of the british car industry. Morgan is the only British car company left from the old days. Connaught, and Marcos are back for now. TVR is owned by the russians, Jaguar and Land Rover are Indian, Lotus is Malaysian, Triumph cars, Mini, Bentley, and Rolls Royce, are all German. MG is chinese, and Rover (as far I know) is american.

  • Your forget Caterham and Noble. You also forgot Mclaren.

And, Jaguar are owned by Indians, yes. But the company isn't Indian.

Also, why is this relevant on a video that's showing someone cleaning an engine block?

  • Mclaren is so small it's hardly worth mention. They mostly do F1 stuff and occasioally build road cars. It's in the same category as Lola. I am not saying that those names are without merit. Far from it. They have long and illustrious histories all their own.

Caterham, builds replicars. Noble is also very low volume. The marques I mentioned were all high volume by comparison. And yes I think jag is very much Indian at this point.

  • Mclaren would be known to every major car enthusiast.

    You obviously aren't.

I didn't say Jag is Indian. I said it is British, and is a sub of an Indian company.

Noble builds modern sports cars as do Ascari.

Both are well known at this point.

  • I know of McLaren, I just don't think it counts. Noble lacks both the prestige and the volume of other boutique players like ferrari and lamborghini. McLaren has only the F1 to their name. Dont forget I know all about Lola too, but they are a race car manufacturer just like Mclaren and dont count. The british racing industry is alive and well but the rest is dead or no longer brittish.

  • Mclaren also helped with the SLR which is why it's called the SLR Mclaren.

Nothing is dead. They're all producing cars. Managed by British bosses and are primarily bought by British people.

  • @joness105639 I think that about hits the nail on the head, there r cars made in the UK but just not British cars (not volume anyway), that largest British manufacturer of motor vehicles in the guys that make the black cabs. But it seems that most of the F1 cars and rally cars are prepared by small brit engineering firms, but Lotus, Jag, Aston, Rolls, Bentley, Land Rover/Range Rover r all out of British hands now not too sure about TVR and Morgan, sad but there u go.

  • Boo hoo. I'll pronounce it however I please, just like how you Brits pronounce the metal "Alumin-I-um".

  • thats because that is how it is spelled. you spell it incorectly, afterall it is our language.

Aluminium produced From Bauxite ore is the correct way of spelling and pronouncing this material. ask the australians, all those orange pebbles on the WRC stages? thats bauxite. they call it aluminium. in fact, america is the only country that calls it aluminum. another example of the ignorant americans thinking they are right and the rest of the world is wrong.

  • Tata owns Jaguar

  • Yep, you're right about that and it pisses me off. That and soddering..... it's called SOLDERING ffs !

  • Pity we cant see the result of the second milling! When you said "what happens when you dont keep the proper amount of coolant in the cooling system". I think you may have intended saying "the proper amount of antifreeze in the coolant system" because, as you know the corrosion damage is caused by neat water and the antifreeze is as important for its antifreeze properties as it is for its corrosion inhibition. In fact, you might agree to overdose it, because its the cheaper option!

  • Something seems to be wrong with your video. It stops playing at just after 2 minutee into it and I have no idea if it's just me or if it's your video itself. But THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting all your videos on here, I feel so lucky to stumble upon your YouTube account. Thanks again and please keep it up!
