  • Oh! I need this song for a project I'm working on. Anyone know where I could obtain it (legally, preferably), or have a translation of the lyrics? It's a wonderful song, and conveys the sort of tone I was trying to convey much better than the one I'm currently using in its place, as well as sounding much better.

  • I'm not too fond of puppets but this song is so very beautiful! I love it. Her voice is so sweet and innocent. ;w;

  • I don't wanna discredit this but does anybody else find the whole video kind of scary? I mean, this guy looks really evil, doesn't he? What does he want from that girl?

  • This is the sweetest voice I've heard in a long time. Who is that little girl? This is absolutely charming. Thank you for posting.

  • @mayatatyana1 otrada87 already answered, but I assume you might need it in english. It's Klara Rumyanova (Клара Румянова). And she's an adult, actually :)

  • @6827878174110349 Thank you for pointing this out to me. I read Russian. Lovely, sweet voice from an adult. I'd love to have the lyrics in Russian. I'll try otrada87. Thank you again.

  • @mayatatyana1

Klara Rumanyova's singing :-) Though, she's no little girl.. Just sounds like one.

  • This has got to be one of the prettiest things I've ever heard. Is there any surprise I'm in love with Russia?

  • I don't understand any Russian (well, apart from small talk and Cyrillic), but this song somehow sounds almost melancholic. To be fair, a lot of other lullabies also sound that way to me now; maybe they have a different effect when we're adults.

Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful melody, and I love the sound of Russian.

  • It's all about a magic flower - the most unusual and wonderful, almost impossible to ever encounter, but maybe over seven mountain ranges it will glimpse one day, as fresh as a blow of wind, etc... Well, it's all pretty like an allegory of a child's dreams coming true, a symbol of miracles coming to life :-)

  • We must have a translation of this.

    What is the story?

  • i've forgotten all of my childhood russian . what does this all mean??

  • my mom sang this song to me when i was a baby! i love this song!

  • but the dolls are epic in their own way...

    i love russian culture!

  • my foster grandmother used to sing this to me before they sent me away

  • Wow! I know how to talk Russian. Example: Здравсвуйте.

  • whats this song called?

  • This is very interesting, although I too am a little freaked out by puppets. lol But it's a very nice song.

  • I dont know, Agnessa, sometimes I think puppets can be a bit creepy. Kind of like clowns, most are quite harmless, then there is that "one".

Loved watching anyway. Hello to Mescovic!

  • I agree with you that some are very spooky in that that look dead and creepy like assume your talking about. Puppets are big apart Russian culture and uses many animation and art.

  • There was one film in particular, that featured a ventriloquist's dummy, it was called "Magic" starring Anthony Hopkins and Raquel Welch, this thing scared the hell out of me. Never did look at puppets the same way.

As for clows, nothing tops the nasty clown list like Stephen King's "It" Pennywise the clown...Agh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I looked up those things you mention the clown from It. That clown does look very very spooky and creepy yuck.

  • I remember 'Magic'...it gave me nightmares for weeks! This is a nice lullaby though. Any chance of a translation?

  • I'd like to have the translation too.

  • Very sweet. It looks like an interesting story is being told.

  • I also love puppets-

    thanks for posting,Agnessa.

    nice and sweet song-

My mother use to sing me too long time ago; now I sing to other children-

  • The same for all children,a song or story before sleep!

  • Very, very sweet! Thank you for sharing this!
