dont agree with some of thier job performance but you gotta do what cha gotta do ive seen both of those trucks in action several times and that tracloader wasnt that big of a job for those trucks regardless of the terrain you dont play around with that ga red clay in a situation like that would hate to have seen the bill for that recovery
They are standing in the worst possible spot if they break a cable, it would cut them in half. They have no feet down on the tow truck and it could slide off the hill trying to bull out the dozer. Looks as if safety was not even looked at. Many things done wrong..
SPACECADET2U if you could lift the bucket without putting extra weight on the front and sinking it even more there is no way you would push the Traxcavator (that's what we call it in Aus) backward by curling the bucket against a bucket of mud not to mention the suction that would cause. Yes that excavator is way to small to get the traxcavator out of that hole. Rednecks? Only rednecks wouldn't use the right gear to get that out of there!

When I first realized what the "plan" was; I was astonished and I had to watch the whole thing. I was taught that these equipments are called a "front loader" and an "excavator"; but there are probably other names in use. And yes, the track layer would be my first, )and only) choice to back out the front loader.
That was truly amazing. a. there wasn't any bulldozer involved in this video; b.the chain loop onthe tow fixture of the front loader was running at about 250% of it's safe load rating c.0nce again really good machinery that never should have been treated this way, saves really foolish people who never should have been at this job site.
At 9:38 why not just put the bucket down and curl back?! So many retarded things about this video I can't stand to watch anymore....hope you had to bury it in the "small pond".
A53c does not weigh that. But why the wreckers? There's a good sized hoe there. But I wasn't there. But I do run more than 53c. Oh yeah I forgot a53c is a loader. Where is the loader help?
By minute 14 raising the loader arm all the way up would have helped counter the rear ballast. GOtta love winches!
