  • I can vouch for the person who says to skip the X-pipe. I bought a X-pipe for my 05 Mustang GT and I have flowmaster american thunder axelbacks and it sounded like shit. I went back to the stock h-pipe and had an X inserted and removed the h, and yet still reatined the stock cats and it sounds good. It just is not as loud as I want it.

  • I have been cheeking out the muffler deletes and I think over the winter I am going to change. I like my Flows, but want something louder

  • I think the x pipe sounds pretty good with the Flowmasters. I have it with my 06 GT. Its all about personal preference.

  • That is true, to each it's own.

  • do u thing the catback will louder or the same

  • Not sure, soon I'll put an X-Pipe on though

  • Not sure, I bought an x-pipe, putting it on in the spring

  • Nice car. Skip the x-pipe tho. I have the same car and an X-Pipe sounds like crap on it. If you're going to replace the factory mid pipe stay with the H.

  • Thanks alot, I will stay with an H pipe.

  • Axle back.

  • Sounds nice, is it a cat-back or axle back exhaust?
