really good job... just a tad slow compared to the original... and I noticed that you "cheated" just a bit at 1:49 on the BIG STRETCH... LOL... Hey, that's OK, I can't reach it either... I looked at TE's hands when I met him and they are HUGE -- and THAT'S how he does that seven-fret stretch. :-) All in all, a really good job, very smooth!
I agree with you, I think I know what you mean about the 1:49 part, letting the c# (9th fret) ring longer? It is kinda tricky, and I did actually practice it the right way when i was learning the notes, but after not playing for awhile I forget about these things lol(shame on me!)
There's a slide-down from the 10th fret to the 9th fret on the original at 1:49, but, hey man - I can't get anywhere NEAR reaching it either... TE teases guitar players during his concerts, he says, "pay close attention to this, most people think I made a mistake when I wrote this because it is impossible to stretch that far..." Then he proceeds to stretch that far! :-) But, dude, that is a GREAT cover, I am just picking fly crap out of the grain bin here... :-)
Yeah i didn't detect the 10th fret when listening to the album version, it would be near impossible to reach while barring the 4th fret for most mere mortals.. you'd need giant hands and great strength :p
I met TE in July, when I shook his hand, I looked at it. I have BIG hands... he has FREAKING HUGE hands. :-) And, can you imagine how strong they are, after playing wild-assed guitar music 10-14 hours a day? I am just glad he didn't squeeze mine too tight, I probably would have required years of physical therapy. :-)
can you make lessons plz?
