No sense in buying these brand new, the designs on these don't even change year to year, you can't even tell the difference between the brand new 2009, i've been looking and comparing the differences from the 2004, and the 2009 , and the only difference i've even seen is the rear lights and the 2009 has 4 tailpipes instead of 2. And 2 is better than 4 anyway because with 2 tail pipes the sound is deeper because it isn't being split up. save money and buy a 2004 lambo.
There is penty of difference from 2004-2006 let alone 2009 which is a completely different car. Sure the exterior doesn't change much (why would you want it to keep changing?) Interior and the electronics is where the BIG differences are. A couple of quick examples.
Steering wheel design Changed in 05,
04 model still had a crappy orange face radio and cassette player, 05 onwards got upgrades with gps/radio/6 stacker cd/ multimedia/reverse camera...
The best improvement was in 06 when the E-gear (clutchless manual) was updated to have shorter ratios, quicker gear changes and in fact with the e-gear improvemment alone they managed to find 23 more horse power.
the 2009 Gallardos really shit on the 2006 model just like the 06 one shit on the 04 model. Exterior doesn't change much, but it is by no means a comparable vehicle from 2004-2009.

When you insult someone, at least have the right information before you use the insult. Lamborghinis have NEVER been rear-engined. They have either been mid or front-engined. Mid-engine is behind the seats in front of the rear axle. Take a look under the hood of a Lamborghini Gallardo and you will see this same thing. The only rear-engined car in the world right now is the Porsche 911. It has the engine sitting BEHIND the rear axle and all the way in the back, hence why its called a rear-engine.

@ Gentarion, The powerplant is not "slightly more tuned than the Audi's", as Audi borrowed the powerplant for the R8 after their own TT V10 from the RS6 blew the test car up in flames at The Ring. Audi detuned the engine for the R8 V10 and swapped the Lamborghini piston heads, crank and exhaust manifold for their own. The AWD system is not Audi's quattro, it's a reworked version of Lambo's old AWD from the 70's. The only thing not italian in this car is the Sat Nav.
I rented it for a 3 days...it hurts my back a lot...because it is powerful, driving it 10 hours a day and the engine is exactly behind my seat. but the most thing this car has is too much much attention. other then that is waisting money...

Say that to my 2010 Gallardo LP560-4, can't remember the last time the F430 ran 11.2s 1/4 miles, the 2003-2004 Gallardos (like the one in this video) were quite a disappointment, but the SE, Superleggera, & above all the LP560-4 are amazing machines. I am a Ferrari guy myself, & admittedly the new 458 Italia's engine is breath taking and probably better than the Lambo's V10, but the LP560-4 is a force to be reckoned with as well. Check mine out in my vids.
Look the superleggera and balboni Are great cars prroper lambos. But seriously, the gallardos v10 is the exact same powerplant as in the r8 v10 just slightly more tuned. Same quattro 4wd system, heck even the instrument dials are identical. I notice it's pissed a few people off what I wrote but lambo theese days has lost everything it once was due to Audi ownership. You can not denie that!
Gentarion, The 5.2L V10 is built in Sant'Agata Bolognese by Lamborghini. It uses Lamborghini's traditional 4 valves/Cylinder arrangement unlike Audi's traditional 5 valve/cylinder. It is widely known as Lambroghini's 3rd engine design since the Audi takeover.
I don't think all other models are shit compared to mine I just know they are. The entire Lamborghini enthusiasts community was disappointed with the original iteration of the Gallardo, Lamborghini received thousands of complaints from the owners of the 2003-2004 model years which is why they had to do an early refresh of them, and I do happen to have the latest and greatest model, that doesn't make me an asswhole at all It's just a fact, 2003-2004 was a subpar vehicle.

That is why they introduced the Gallardo SE, and Nera so soon after the original 2003 model, to correct the shortcomings of the previous model, and those were pretty good, the Superleggera was amazing, & the LP560-4 godly.

When you insult someone, at least have the right information before you use the insult. Lamborghinis have NEVER been rear-engined. They have either been mid or front-engined. Mid-engine is behind the seats in front of the rear axle. Take a look under the hood of a Lamborghini Gallardo and you will see this same thing. The only rear-engined car in the world right now is the Porsche 911. It has the engine sitting BEHIND the rear axle and all the way in the back, hence why its called a rear-engine.

Actually it doesn't bother me so much when the average Joe says it that way but when a sales man who is supposed to know what he's talking about says it, AND calls it a rear engine layout when it's a mid, that just makes me gnash my teeth. @ Gentarion, The powerplant is not "slightly more tuned than the Audi's", as Audi borrowed the powerplant for the R8 after their own TT V10 from the RS6 blew the test car up in flames at The Ring. Audi detuned the engine for the R8 V10 and swapped the Lamborghini piston heads, crank and exhaust manifold for their own. The AWD system is not Audi's quattro, it's a reworked version of Lambo's old AWD from the 70's. The only thing not italian in this car is the Sat Nav.

I rented it for a 3 days...it hurts my back a lot...because it is powerful, driving it 10 hours a day and the engine is exactly behind my seat. but the most thing this car has is too much much attention. other then that is waisting money...

if youre running a supercar retail store & can't pronounce gallardo (italian, double l becomes a j) just realy says a lot, would never buy from this guy, seems like he cant drive properly (not warming up the engine before high revs is a big nono) A lamborghini is great and all that, but this is just an expensive r8, silly esp system, audi electronics, a f430 is better car, but for everyday use get a gallardo, my neighbor has a 2008 white spyder, drives it to work everyday, even in -20C.

The F430 is a better car? Expensive R8? Say that to my 2010 Gallardo LP560-4, can't remember the last time the F430 ran 11.2s 1/4 miles, the 2003-2004 Gallardos (like the one in this video) were quite a disappointment, but the SE, Superleggera, & above all the LP560-4 are amazing machines. I am a Ferrari guy myself, & admittedly the new 458 Italia's engine is breath taking and probably better than the Lambo's V10, but the LP560-4 is a force to be reckoned with as well. Check mine out in my vids.

Look the superleggera and balboni Are great cars prroper lambos. But seriously, the gallardos v10 is the exact same powerplant as in the r8 v10 just slightly more tuned. Same quattro 4wd system, heck even the instrument dials are identical. I notice it's pissed a few people off what I wrote but lambo theese days has lost everything it once was due to Audi ownership. You can not denie that!

Gentarion, The 5.2L V10 is built in Sant'Agata Bolognese by Lamborghini. It uses Lamborghini's traditional 4 valves/Cylinder arrangement unlike Audi's traditional 5 valve/cylinder. It is widely known as Lambroghini's 3rd engine design since the Audi takeover.

The entire Lamborghini enthusiasts community was disappointed with the original iteration of the Gallardo, Lamborghini received thousands of complaints from the owners of the 2003-2004 model years which is why they had to do an early refresh of them, and I do happen to have the latest and greatest model, that doesn't make me an asswhole at all It's just a fact, 2003-2004 was a subpar vehicle.

Kid the 2003 Gallardo was received with widespread critique, customers where disappointed with the performance, how glitchy the E-gear was, and how much the AWD affected the top end performance, if pointing that out makes me an asshole then you are just plain ignorant. That is why they introduced the Gallardo SE, and Nera so soon after the original 2003 model, to correct the shortcomings of the previous model, and those were pretty good, the Superleggera was amazing, & the LP560-4 godly.

i can buy ayellow 2004 lambo gallardo worth $79,988+ with 18k miles on it..so why buy a brand new when you can get it in a low price..with $250k you can buy the lambo plus a 2000 ferrari f360 and an aston martin db9..all with less than 20k miles on it..
