What's that "joke" David quips just before O Mio Babbino -- "I'm gonna go home and beat my kids" or something ?! Everyone laughs, but I don't get it... could someone please explain that to a European? I think Jackie didn't get it either, but then she laughed anyway.

I get the feeling she's a pretty good actor by now. See how she reacts when David announces they are going to do another song? But she knew that in advance -- they had picked the song together and rehearsed it, too, I'm sure.

@geketube Explaining humor is a drag: The joke infers that she's so incredibly good and inspiring that he realizes how ordinary kids just do not compare. He feigns that he's "jealous" that his presumably average children aren't like her and, carrying the joke to its punchline, that "he's going home to beat them" which (a) catches the listener off guard, (b) plays with and mocks political correctness of our therapy culture, and (c) flatters her to show how much he'd like kids with her talent.

Thank You for putting this up. I bought the Hit Man DVD just for

Jackie's 2 songs, because know one had them together, great job.

I can see they cut a lot out of what David said.  This is one of my

favorite performance from Jackie. Thanks again.
