Thats what i studied as well! small world. We were in the old Vickers building tho and the new block was not even on the drawing board. When i went back it was only just underway so lucky you.
Barry was my Art History teacher and he was the best. Used to love his lessons. If I went back I would probably teach fine art as I ended up doing portrait art in my spare time and absolutely love it. I might also teach Photoshop etc
Hi pirates - i went to brooklands college and studied there between 93-95. I loved my time there and went back and completed the hnc graphics back in 2003.
Is Barry and Colin still there?
Also, i really like the concept for you final piece and the end result turned out excellent. I liked that fact that the head on the body was non-apparent and the way it moulded itself in the tree. Very good stuff, really great.

Makes me miss the place really bad and i was thinking of going back as a teacher someday if i could.

Hey, thanks for the comment! aah cool yeh i did the BTEC national diploma in art and design in 07-08 (in the new huge art block there!)
I'm not sure if I know Colin but the legend that is Barry Venning is still there- he was my art history lecturer!
