I would certainly like to hear his definition of "The American People". He uses that phrase a couple times, all the while bashing and scoffing each time he speaks of anyone who has a liberal thought.

"Radical Violent Islam us evil and he (John McCain) will defeat it". Check it out if you want, it's on part 2 of the Mitt Romney speech at 1:47.
Also, regarding the "God told me to smite Saddam, so i smote him" line he fed us; Google that quote and you will find not a single reputable media source; it comes from a bunch of left-wing blogs. There are two links that point to cbsnews's website, but if you click on the links you won't find the quote in the body of the story, but only in the comments section.
Next, put the quote into the YouTube search engine and see what you find. If the quote was real, you would think that someone would have posted it by now, but there is no evidence of the quote. This is how liberals think, some left-wing blog makes up a damaging quote, another left-wing site repeats the lie and suddenly the lie become the truth.

Truth yes, I speak it, and there is more than one instance of him repeating the same story of him seeing the plane hit the building on TV before he went into the school. Probably one of the only times bush was telling the truth.

BTW, if Romney wouldn't admit that his religion claims all other religions are an abomination, why should I expect any Mormon to admit it to me? And if all Mormons are going to deny this, how would I know whethr they are all lying or all telling the truth? Islam is evil. Any religion that calls on its followers to kill anyone in the name of their religion can't be considered anything but evil. Any religion that commands people to kill family members who commit adultery is evil (& before you confuse the issue, Christianity says "Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery" not Thou Shall Kill Adulterers). As silly as the dogma of the LDS belief system is, it doesn't call on followers to kill non-believers, so comparisons between Mormon and Islam are ridiculous.

It was Bill Clinton's AG Janet Reno that began suing mortgage companies who wouldn't give loans to people who couldn't afford houses and it was the Democrats who covered up for Fannie and Freddie when it became clear that the whole mess was going to collapse. Democrats like to pretend that they are the compassionate ones, but in this case (as well as most other things Democrats stick their noses into) their cure was worse than the disease. Giving a person a home loan they can't afford is worse than telling them they can't afford a house right now. If you give a person a house they can't afford, and the lose their house, they will wreck their credit rating and never be able to get a loan again. Not very compassionate, is it?
The compassionate thing to do is tell them that they cannot afford a house right now, but keep saving and someday they will be able to afford one. Then in the future, when they have more money saved and more income, they will be able to keep their house.

1) How to banks make a profit by loaning money? They earn a profit by charging interest and then collecting that interest over the life of the loan. If the loan defaults, they don't get their profit, so what exactly is the motive for banks to write bad loans? The answer is, there is none!
Banks know that giving bad loans to people is not a good investment because they will lose money, but they had no choice because the Democrats put a gun to their head and forced them to make bad business decisions. Now, you can blame to selling, reselling & repackaging of loans all you want, but that was done by the banks to minimize their losses and it was all a response to Reno (a.k.a. The Democrats) forcing banks to do something that they wouldn't do if they had a choice.

I'm about to do something that you have demonstrated that you cannot do. I'm going to actually agree with you on one point. Republicans did actually rack up a huge debt during their time in office and that is the reason that they lost the 2006 & 2008 elections. This is still a center-right nation, but the majority either switched sides or stayed home during the last two elections to punish Republicans for forgetting who they are and they deserved to be sent home after the way they acted.
You misinterpret this change to be a rejection of the conservative movement, but you could not be more wrong. Conservatism didn't fail, Liberal Republicans in the Congress and Senate lost faith in their ideals and began acting like Democrats. If people want liberal policies enacted by the government, they will vote for the real thing, not a Republican that attempts to be a pale copy of a Democrat. If Republicans want to get back into power, they need to stick to their guns like Newt did in 1994.
As for the Enron mess. Sorry my friend, but that's the Democrats again. My home state for California experienced that first hand. The radical environmentalists (who last time I checked do not vote Republican) refused to allow California to generate most of its own electricity in our own state, which forced our two biggest electricity suppliers (SCE & PG&E) to purchase electricity on the wholesale market. When the wholesale price of elec. spiked, PG&E went bankrupt and SCE almost followed them.
While it is clear that Enron was manipulating the cost of electricity, it was government regulation that almost bankrupted the state of California because, you see, in this so-called de-regulated industry, there was a regulation that prevented SCE & PG&E from charging more than a certain price for electricity. When the wholesale price of electricity exceeded that artificial limit, those companies began losing money. The whole mess would never have been a problem without government regulations.
The answer, my friend, is not to add more regulations that always have unintended consequences because it's ridiculous to think that a government made up of people who have no experience in an industry, can regulate that industry. The answer is to de-regulate more and allow competition into the mix. If Company A is screwing its customers, then Company B will come in and take all their business away.
Is this a perfect solution? No, but it's the best option there is because it allows the people to make the decisions, not government agencies who haven't a clue about the inner working of the industries they wish to regulate. There will always be crooks like Enron because people are dishonest and motivated by personal gain. I'd rather have those crooks be in the private sector, however, because I then have the right to refuse to support them.
When the crooks are in government, I am forced to support their actions as long as they can fool a majority of people into voting for them.
As Ronald Reagan said, "Government is not the solution, Government is the problem!" The solution is more de-regulation and free market solutions to our problems. It is the only option that works every time it is tried. Socialism (government regulation of industry) has failed every time it has been tried. We know what works & what doesn't. De-regulate now!
You don't take a vital national interest like electrical generation and subject it to speculation when it was working fine for the utilities and its customers. I live in TX and they de regulated. We went from 8 cent to 18 cent a Kilowatt hr. They told us competition would bring it down, we are now at 14 cent a kilowatt hr. Energy costs are higher because the cost of generating electricity is higher because Democrats won't allow us to tap into our own energy resources. Want to reduce energy prices? Allow us to build more refineries, allow us to drill in ANWR, allow us to build nuclear power plants, allow us to mine shale oil and coal.
As for property taxes, that's a state issue and can't be blamed on Bush or Romney. Take that up with your state representatives.
Electricity is largely regulated in most states and most that went the way of deregulation have reversed course because it was joke and too risky to subject your population to the likes of speculators who do and seem to manage market manipulation. If you think you are getting ripped off by energy prices in TX, then you need to take that up with your state legislator. Look up "Underwriters Laboratories". About 100 years ago when electronics were just starting to become popular, there were a large number of cases where poorly designed electronics were electrocuting people or starting fires. Electronics manufacturers decided that it was not a good idea to be killing their customers, joined together & formed UL to assure their customers that their products were save. As a result, there is very little government regulation of electronics.
Regarding the connections between Bush and Enron, Yes, it is true that Bush worked with Lay in the 80's and remained friends with him after that but that is not evidence that Bush bears any responsibility for Enrons actions after he divested himself from the company. There is not one spec of evidence of any connection between Bush and Enrons crimes. Bush simply did what a good Capitalist President does and got the government out of the way of business to help spur on the economy.

Once again if Companies A, B, C and D are not meeting the needs of their customers, Company E will come in and take all their business. The private sector is self correcting and while it will occasionally create temporary pain, things always reverse themselves with time. George Soros nearly bankrupted Great Brittan by short-selling the pound in 1992. He made nearly 2 billion dollars profit by destroying the British economy. Actually if you ask the experts, they will tell you it is less that 1.5 years to drill a well and have it start producing and that estimate is based on drilling in ANWR. In Ca. where you don't need to build an entire town to support your drilling operation and where the weather is a little more accommodating, the estimate time is much lower. Any delays beyond that would be because Democrats block efforts by filing lawsuits to prevent progress.
Oil companies are laying off, they don't have big plans to drill in America, we cannot drill out way out of this anyways and to think so is very niave. If you really want to seek the truth of the matter, look into the magnet motors, hydrogen projects and others who are proving that yes, we can harness the resonance around us, as N. Tesla stated.
Drilling our way out of the mess is not a permanent solution, only a temporary bridge to the next big thing. Magnets, Hydrogen/Electric Vehicles, Magic Pixie Dust have possible applications in the future, but none of them are ready to use today. Like it or not, our economy runs on oil and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
When we are ready to implement a new fuel source to replace oil, it will cost money, but we will be unable to do that if we cripple our economy now when there are no new technologies ready to take over. Like it or not, oil will continue to get more and more expensive and supplies dwindle and demand increases due to China and India demanding more oil to drive their economies. You point to a single ABC report as evidence of a cover up regarding 9/11. Do you remember Abu Ghraib? There was serious evidence of that incident and it was the top story on every news network for weeks on end, but you can only point to a single report on one network to support your conspiracy theory.
I would make the argument that if there was any serious evidence of a connection between Bush & 9/11, the coverage of that story would be at least as serious as Abu Ghraib was. I think both of us can agree that evidence of Bush being directly responsible for the death of 3000 Americans is a somewhat more serious charge than shooting photos of terrorists with underwear on their head, but you can only point to a single news report on a single network as evidence. Doesn't that tell you something?
I would also expect that if there was evidence of such a conspiracy, the Democrats who control both houses of Congress would have done something about it by now. An American President intentionally causing the deaths of 3000 Americans would be one of the worst crimes ever committed in this country and it is unlikely that the Democrats who have accused the President of many things that are false would ignore this issue and not call for his impeachment/execution because of it.
As for Atta's hard drive, you are aware that computers have a lot of stuff on them that is not evidence, Right? There are system files, programs, letters to his mom that serve no purpose. Well, I don't know about that. I know what I heard as did others in the room at the time. We all agreed he slipped, I was just playing "gotcha" news. Islam is evil. Any religion that calls on its followers to kill anyone in the name of their religion can't be considered anything but evil. Any religion that commands people to kill family members who commit adultery is evil (& before you confuse the issue, Christianity says "Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery" not Thou Shall Kill Adulterers). As silly as the dogma of the LDS belief system is, it doesn't call on followers to kill non-believers, so comparisons between Mormon and Islam are ridiculous.

Giving a person a home loan they can't afford is worse than telling them they can't afford a house right now. It's clear to me that you didn't even read what I said, because no where did I say that it was the poor people fault that they were given bad loans. IT IS THE DEMOCRATS FAULT! 1) How to banks make a profit by loaning money? They earn a profit by charging interest and then collecting that interest over the life of the loan. If the loan defaults, they don't get their profit, so what exactly is the motive for banks to write bad loans? The answer is, there is none!

Banks know that giving bad loans to people is not a good investment because they will lose money, but they had no choice because the Democrats put a gun to their head and forced them to make bad business decisions. Republicans did actually rack up a huge debt during their time in office and that is the reason that they lost the 2006 & 2008 elections. This is still a center-right nation, but the majority either switched sides or stayed home during the last two elections to punish Republicans for forgetting who they are and they deserved to be sent home after the way they acted.

You misinterpret this change to be a rejection of the conservative movement, but you could not be more wrong. Conservatism didn't fail, Liberal Republicans in the Congress and Senate lost faith in their ideals and began acting like Democrats. If people want liberal policies enacted by the government, they will vote for the real thing, not a Republican that attempts to be a pale copy of a Democrat. If Republicans want to get back into power, they need to stick to their guns like Newt did in 1994.

As for the Enron mess. Sorry my friend, but that's the Democrats again. My home state for California experienced that first hand. The radical environmentalists (who last time I checked do not vote Republican) refused to allow California to generate most of its own electricity in our own state, which forced our two biggest electricity suppliers (SCE & PG&E) to purchase electricity on the wholesale market. When the wholesale price of elec. spiked, PG&E went bankrupt and SCE almost followed them.

While it is clear that Enron was manipulating the cost of electricity, it was government regulation that almost bankrupted the state of California because, you see, in this so-called de-regulated industry, there was a regulation that prevented SCE & PG&E from charging more than a certain price for electricity. When the wholesale price of electricity exceeded that artificial limit, those companies began losing money. The whole mess would never have been a problem without government regulations.

The answer, my friend, is not to add more regulations that always have unintended consequences because it's ridiculous to think that a government made up of people who have no experience in an industry, can regulate that industry. The answer is to de-regulate more and allow competition into the mix. If Company A is screwing its customers, then Company B will come in and take all their business away.

Is this a perfect solution? No, but it's the best option there is because it allows the people to make the decisions, not government agencies who haven't a clue about the inner working of the industries they wish to regulate. There will always be crooks like Enron because people are dishonest and motivated by personal gain. I'd rather have those crooks be in the private sector, however, because I then have the right to refuse to support them.

You don't take a vital national interest like electrical generation and subject it to speculation when it was working fine for the utilities and its customers. I live in TX and they de regulated. We went from 8 cent to 18 cent a Kilowatt hr. They told us competition would bring it down, we are now at 14 cent a kilowatt hr. Energy costs are higher because the cost of generating electricity is higher because Democrats won't allow us to tap into our own energy resources. Want to reduce energy prices? Allow us to build more refineries, allow us to drill in ANWR, allow us to build nuclear power plants, allow us to mine shale oil and coal.
As for property taxes, that's a state issue and can't be blamed on Bush or Romney. Take that up with your state representatives.

Electricity is largely regulated in most states and most that went the way of deregulation have reversed course because it was joke and too risky to subject your population to the likes of speculators who do and seem to manage market manipulation. I feel that regulation is generally bad because (people in) government lacks the experience to regulate an industry that they don't understand, but if there is going to be any regulation, it should be at the state level, but then you can't blame Bush, Romney or anyone at the federal level for your mess.

Look up "Underwriters Laboratories". About 100 years ago when electronics were just starting to become popular, there were a large number of cases where poorly designed electronics were electrocuting people or starting fires. Electronics manufacturers decided that it was not a good idea to be killing their customers, joined together & formed UL to assure their customers that their products were save. As a result, there is very little government regulation of electronics.

Regarding the connections between Bush and Enron, Yes, it is true that Bush worked with Lay in the 80's and remained friends with him after that but that is not evidence that Bush bears any responsibility for Enrons actions after he divested himself from the company. There is not one spec of evidence of any connection between Bush and Enrons crimes. Bush simply did what a good Capitalist President does and got the government out of the way of business to help spur on the economy.

You must of flunked civics in school! The executive branch is not in charge of the purse strings, that's the legislative. During the Reagan years, Congress and The Senate were controlled by Democrats. All Reagan could do is sign or veto the spending from Congress. If he vetoed every nutty thing the Democrats did, nothing would have happened during those years. Reagan revived the economy after the Carter years, rebuild the military and won the Cold War.

Once again if Companies A, B, C and D are not meeting the needs of their customers, Company E will come in and take all their business. The private sector is self correcting and while it will occasionally create temporary pain, things always reverse themselves with time. George Soros nearly bankrupted Great Brittan by short-selling the pound in 1992. He made nearly 2 billion dollars profit by destroying the British economy. William Ayers is a domestic terrorist who blew up the White House, The Pentagon and a NY Police Station. I think those crimes are at least as bad as what Ken Lay did. Actually if you ask the experts, they will tell you it is less that 1.5 years to drill a well and have it start producing and that estimate is based on drilling in ANWR. In Ca. where you don't need to build an entire town to support your drilling operation and where the weather is a little more accommodating, the estimate time is much lower. Any delays beyond that would be because Democrats block efforts by filing lawsuits to prevent progress.

Drilling our way out of the mess is not a permanent solution, only a temporary bridge to the next big thing. Magnets, Hydrogen/Electric Vehicles, Magic Pixie Dust have possible applications in the future, but none of them are ready to use today. Like it or not, our economy runs on oil and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

You point to a single ABC report as evidence of a cover up regarding 9/11. Do you remember Abu Ghraib? I would make the argument that if there was any serious evidence of a connection between Bush & 9/11, the coverage of that story would be at least as serious as Abu Ghraib was. I think both of us can agree that evidence of Bush being directly responsible for the death of 3000 Americans is a somewhat more serious charge than shooting photos of terrorists with underwear on their head, but you can only point to a single news report on a single network as evidence. I would also expect that if there was evidence of such a conspiracy, the Democrats who control both houses of Congress would have done something about it by now. An American President intentionally causing the deaths of 3000 Americans would be one of the worst crimes ever committed in this country and it is unlikely that the Democrats who have accused the President of many things that are false would ignore this issue and not call for his impeachment/execution because of it.
