@StadiumComics I don't know!!! but keeping with my story about Miles she is the avatar from dc that came to the ultimate universe to solve their need of a new spiderman on the new upcoming dc new 52 vs marvel ultimate universe. but being real I think is DC Comics way of keeping every buddy expecting for the new crossover lets see what will happen. what is your opinion on these matter? also she kind of looks like Stephanie Brown on her purple costume before being batgirl.

His father studies arachnids all over the world trying to discover new species. There is a call his father gets to investigate a new site in the amazon. He brings the specimens back to his home to study them in his lab. Miles is shown the new species and is told not to touch them as his father hasnt classified them yet. One day while his father is gone and he brings his friends over to see the spiders. they want a closer look.. While holding the spider in his hand it bites him!!!

Miles was wandering the street when he started to get chased by thugs he was then sprinting to get away then he found an abandoned animal research facility except there were people inside working with some tube like object (roughly the size of a person) and while no one was looking he dashed inside and the thugs could not find him so they left. When the scientists got back they flipped a switch and there were bright lights then everything went black, next thing he new he was in his bed.

miles just go mugged and was walking the streets looking for help because he was stabbed when he was approached by a mysterious character they told him they were a doctor and Miles would die if he did not take the medicine and that the city needed a hero and that he could be that hero. Little did Miles know the medication had spider D.N.A inside for the quick healing he then realized that that was no ordinary medicine and that was no ordinary doctor, and it was time for him to step up.

i don't really know anything about the ultimate storyline but at one point Peter Parker was swinging around with a cut on him and Miles got into a fight and cut the inside of his mouth so he went to go buy a pop but when he opened it the blood from Peter's cut dropped into it without Miles knowing it. miles was chased by some bullies and he ran into an old abandon building.which was the same building Parker was bitten by the spider.while running I to the building hiding from the bullies he trip into a room filled with webs.wmiles struggle to escape but as he struggle it caused vibration and a spider came out of the dark and bit miles on his right arm and he fainted.waking up the next morning in the hospital which he later on discover his powers.

I thin peter parker had been secretly training a replacement to take over in the event of his demise and that person was miles. I'm sure he doesn't have some of the powers peter had like more then average strength, but as for the webs or the wall crawling i'm sure peter created some sort of tech to help him with that part of the job. Really hope miles lives up to what peter used to be to the people.

He was the son of Mr. Terrific, and being as smart as his father, saw that Spider-Man needed a replacement, therefore, he figured out a way to get powers, and donned the new suit.

well let me tell you how miles got his powers.........Miles seen how poorly Marvel's comics sold last week in comparison to DC's so he thought to himself " I must save Marvel's future". He then did what any loyal marvel character would have done... he went to the " super hero blood transfusion clinic" where various super heros store samples of their blood in case of emergency. He snuck in and grabbed the first vile he seen which was labeled " Spiderman" ... And that is how miles got his powers
