Nice to see it's up and running smooth, but unfortunately the textures and shadowing are not working. At least the PS2 Ace Combats pushed the PS2 to the limit, employing self shadowing, high polygon counts, 60 fps, and for AC5 and AC0, I think used a form of either cell shading or normal mapping to get the excellent lighting on the aircraft body.
PS2 emulation is very difficult since it requires and enormous amount of CPU power. Basic rule of thumb for emulating a console is that the CPU needs 7-10x the raw power of the console it's emulating, not taking into account graphics, which is another story. PS2 emulation I think is even higher in needs since a decent Core 2 Duo and an 8800 level graphics card have a difficult time with PCSX2. Simply put the PS2's Emotion Engine was very complicated, therefore hard to emulate.
That's not going to work, I have a P4 Prescott 3.2 ghz w/ HT that I oc to 4ghz and a eVGA 8600GT 256MB w/ 4 GB of 800mhz G-Skill Pi DDR2 RAM and the most FPS I could get on PCSX2 0.9.4 was about 30 if I was lucky. I'll try the latest and try OCing my video card as well to see if it would work. It might be a good idea to save an ISO of the disc first...
Any luck with this game? I also use pcsx2 0.9.4 and GSdx 0.1.9 gpu plugin. I cant pass animation after new game is selected. It freeze on animation start :( Working in tutorial mode but it is too slow. Any help?
I have the latest versions of this emulator and its plugins and encountered these problems, but I solved them by rapidly pressing Start as the screens appeared to skip them.
How did you do that? I also have pcsx2 0.9.4 on my pc and I also have the original ace combat 4 game, but it doesn't seem to work somehow. I am very new with this kind of emulating, so if you could explain me step by step how you managed to get the game going that would be awesome, because ace combat rocks!!
Nice game....

where can i get this iso?

The reason why PS2 emulation is extremely difficult on a single core is because the PS2 executables natively ran 2 instructions at once.
On a single core, even with HT, this isn't going to be possible unless your running 7-8+ Ghz.

My pc have:
Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz, GF FX5200 256MB, 512MB RAM DDR, pcsx2 0.9.4 and 0.9.5
The Ace combat 4 don't run smooth on my pc, because the pc don't have the minimun features or the emulator's not properly configured?

The latest ver. has speed hacks and some other new features which I can't wait to try, perhaps it'll run semi-decent on this crap.
I haven't done much testing on AC04 anyways.
