Wow, am I the only one who thinks Cessna needs to take some design or styling lessons from these guys at Tecnam? That Tecnam p2008 is what the Cessna 152/172/182 should look like. That is one of the sexiest high wing airplanes I've seen in awhile, though I don't know much about the flight performance. Keep it up Tecnam.
Not a fan of the Rotax engines......I don't even want to step into a plane that is powered by one. They are plagued with problems and many people have died due to Rotax engine failures!
You are very ilinformed, the 4 stroke Rotax 912 is extremely reliable, even the modern 2 stroke 582s are very reliable,
I manage two aircraft in a training environment which have a combined time around 2000 hours, both on 582s.
The Rotax 912S is infact so reliable that the TBO was recently increased by another 500 hours to 2000 hours. 2000 operating hours before overhaul is required, and they get there.
there are thousands of Rotax engines flying around the skies of Australia and they are very reliable, more so than the stuff that comes out of the States. The ones that fall out of the sky are usually poorly maintained or not maintained at all.
When will the P2010 be available in the US?

I like when Paul hosts these these videos. They always seem to be more thorough.
