can any one please help me? Im already panicking with my numark total control because the left deck is acting crazy with both Virtual Dj and Traktor Scratch Pro. Cue, Set Cue, Play, Bass Kill, and loop out of the left deck are acting crazy.

I just bought a Numark Total Control. I was using CUE 5 and it was working, but then i added the firmware 1.2 and it suddenly stopped working. The remote control on CUE has Numark total control enabled, but there is a red dot next to it. Whenever i connect it to my computer four lights automatically turn on. The EQ lights for treble and mid range turn on, and once i click down on the mid range EQ buttons the FX AMT on both sides turns on and stays on.I cannot use it. Help??

If this auto sync's what is the point, is to focus on adding effects? Seems to take away from the DJ art.

why this over cdj's and a mixer. I'm considering buying a new setup as I have sold my turntables and mixer, but why this, Tork Xponent, Hercules or any other similar setup. If a component on the system such as the play button goes out on one side, your out of a complete system until a replacement.

You have to buy an external soundcard with the stealth control, the omni control is basicly the exact same but it has the plug in on the front. Its a bit more and its silver. The external dj io sound card goes for about 120 bucks.

1. it connects by usb to a computer

2. to use it as a dj (preview sounds of 1 track while playing the other, listen the mix of the two songs, etc) you need either a 4 channel sound card in ur comp, or an external 2 channel soundcard.

2b. very basic explanation: it needs 1 sound card for your headphones, and 1 soundcard for the mix message me if u have?s

i disagree, the Numark TC has a way better look, on the Torq the jogwheels are too big, and for their size not well placed. and the NTC is designed specifically for digital DJing :)

I am unable to find out if the Total Control hardware allow you to switch channels betweeen speakers and headphones or both before mixing, or do you have to buy the DJ IO to do switch between channels from speakers and headphones?

I am currently considering to buy either this total control hardware or the new RMX DJ Console from Hercules and I can't seem to find out if it is possible to switch between channels before making the mix between tracks using headphones.

I think you must buy DJiO because Total control hasn´t headphones output. And Total control comes only with demo versoins of softwares :Traktor 3 and Numark cue. So if you buy or download some full version of Virtual dj or Numark cue (They are quite similar and very easy to use)it will be better.

i dont have the DJiO... i have a 7.1 soundcard and one of the options in setup is have your headphone output as rear center (which is the black one) and your main output as Front Center (which is the green one)

same as me. i spoke to a bloke in a dj shop in town and he sed that you need the io becos its the only way you can do it with head fones, i messed about with that sound card for ages tryin different ways and couldnt doit so went to the local dj shop and explained the prob. he sed lots of poeple have been same. it doesnt say anywhere that you can use headphones to mix with the 7.1. soon as i set the io up worked exactly how it should. you running on windows vista?

no you couldnt. the DJ/iO doesnt have enough inputs for using turntables. you need 2x RCA stereo inputs. and DJ/iO only has a Mic input.
