does anyone know the one where there was a group of animals. I think there was a squirrel, a panda..etc. One time one of them got into trouble at the circus or something? and landed ina net? I never saw it on telly, but my mum had a book of it (long gone this book now). I'm pretty sure it's 80's. I thought they had alvin adn the chipmunks as friends or something?

Hello everybody! I am looking or this crazy cartoon about these 2 detectives; one of whom is a dog named Yuk. He is the World's Ugliest Dog and have a doghouse covering his head. Whenever he take the doghouse of his head; all hell break lose. Everyone screams hysterically and passes out. Sometimes earthquakes are started. Anyways, the bad guys are caught when he took that thing off his head. Really funny shit. Another thing, they never ever shown the dogs face. Just the back of his head. LOLOLOL
I subscribe to both Netflix and Blockbuster online. So this is not a random NF bashing post. But Blockbuster Online has real customer service you can email. Only reason I'm saying this is to encourage fans, even if you don't do BB online, to write into them and express how much you miss Retro toons like this and that it would be cool if they would get more in their inventory. Don't worry about telling them if you're a subscriber, just write in. Then one place will notice the other and follow.
I love RARE shows like this. I wish The Hub, or CN would get blocks of these to air on weekend Mornings. Imagine the ratings they could get. All of us retro fans now have kids, nephews, etc.. I wish Discovery was open minded enough to make it's HUB network more available to basic channel line ups for those that don't want to buy or who can't afford higher tiered packages.
OMG!!!! I remember all of those cartoons!!! Thank you so much for making this video. Screw Disney and their live-action crap! This is when Saturday morning cartoons were actually CARTOONS!
i also think there should be a free sky channel just for the 80s cartoons i loved waking up sat mornings and putting on the best cartoons ever today cartoons are not as good for example tom and jerry just to modernised whats going on?
my 5 year old niece watches my little pony and the carebears now in the new versions and its amazing that she loves them as much as i did when i was 5
You missed The Jetsons and Gumbo (the green flexible guy) and She-ra as well as the gummi bears and Richy Rich. Please do another video! :) I loved it.
@TREEHOUSE4650 hated the jetsons, loved gumbo but don't remember watching him till the 90's, though he's been around for long before that. I am sure gummi bears is in there somewhere, and I never saw Richy Rich until I was an adult :)
@BenGoldking Rainbow Brite , Fraggle Rock, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Robotech, Voltron, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, The Littles , Care Bares, She-Ra, Filmmations Ghostbusters.. they're on Netflix now. Be sure to share that info with other retro fans. They're also on Blockbuster ONline. Lets show these online rental places an increase in the amount of Retro Streaming. Maybe that will get them to get more shows available to us. Copy & paste this idea around to others.
Carebears and strawberry shortcake....my 5year old now watches them but in the new version...not the same as when your a kid but i sit and watch em anyways lol
Damn how I miss these days! 80's and early 90's cartoon straights t-bags most of the cartoons today, with exception to the Boondocks and Family guy (although these cartoons are more adult oriented).
finally first person I seen to include the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that was a classical cartoon^^ never did get into the modern version. Alvin and the Chipmunks, can still remember watching that on the telly:D Care Bears I only remember vaguely. Jem and the Holograms I never watched although wouldn't have minded watching a episode of it, just watched trailers of it on my old Turtle tapesXD last Garfiled and friends, watched it and quite enjoyed it too^^
Jem was for kids who were a little older like elementary school age. Jem had a comlex plot. I was born in 82, I was around 3-7 when Jem was on TV, I didn't sit through the cartoon much cause the story was kinda complex but I loved my Jem doll with the lit up ear-rings. Man I wanted that doll sooo bad for X-mas and GOT IT!
Super awesome!! I still love some of these cartoons! My Favorite Cartoon Mix include: Muppet Babies She-Ra (which I had a sticker book for! Anyone else have sticker books??) Thundercats Ghostbusters Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gummi Bears Ducktales Captain Planet X-Men Now I am going to pour myself a bowl of Frosted Flakes ("they're grrrrreat!), wrap myself up in a blanket, sit on the floor and reminisce: go-go gadget "Like" this video! 80's & 90's kids had the BEST cartoons! :)
rainbow brite, strawberry shortcake, my little pony, ninja turtles, winnie the pooh, inspector gadget, care bears, garfield -watched all those!! But what about Popples? Not many remember them but I LOVED them!!
What a great collection! It almost brought tears to my eyes seeing some of those. I think I'm going to call my mom and have her make me some breakfast and serve it on my Barbie plates so that I can enjoy some more of these....now, with my little girl!
as a ninties kid i remember loving some of those cartoons like ducktales, carebears, my little pony, the new adventures of winnie the pooh and count dracula
@stormsinateacup It's good to see a Girl mashup on youtube, I was wondering where the Jem and MLP and Rainbow Brite love were. A lot of guys don't understand we had their cartoons but also ours. Poor guys missed out on a lot of fun stuff.
Your years are wrong on some of these, but it could be that since some of these were syndicated, they didn't air where I am the same years as what you have listed...
@69bodean I did try to make the cartoons known by making sure the names were included in the clips, but thanks for the advice. I took it, and I added annotations of all names and dates of of the cartoons. Thanks!

There was this cartoon... whats its name... the chars were all made up of 2 different animals? Sort of like gummy bears, but different. Aww, can't remember...
Does anyone remember the cartoon where 3 girls are dancing with 3 guys and the guys turn into monsters or something? I cant recall the name of the cartoon but that was my fave
You described Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics: Episode: Worn Out Dancing Shoes. Played on Nickelodeon at noon as "Lunchtime Theater". Currently unavailable for "official" release, but privateers have put TV recordings on DVD.
sorry, I meant to say couldn't it be the Beetle juice cartoon. I couldn't think of what cartoon you were wondering the name of. it was the only one I could think of :)
lol oh ok. :) I used to love the beetlejuice cartoon too. i found the cartoon I was originally looking for. Raysrealm helped me out here. I miss the good ol' shows tv used to have. The shows today are crap
i just re-remembered CBS Storybreak. trying to remember the title of that show drove me insane! another show i loved back then was a kids show based on the Encyclopedia, and that is where i first learned about King Louis the 14 of France done by a man dancing and singing a little song about him (of course dressed like him!)
miss those days!!! love those cartoons!! even cartoons seemed so much simpler back then ...

You described Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics: Episode: Worn Out Dancing Shoes. Played on Nickelodeon at noon as "Lunchtime Theater". Currently unavailable for "official" release, but privateers have put TV recordings on DVD.

i just re-remembered CBS Storybreak. trying to remember the title of that show drove me insane! another show i loved back then was a kids show based on the Encyclopedia, and that is where i first learned about King Louis the 14 of France done by a man dancing and singing a little song about him (of course dressed like him!)
i miss these shows!
