  • does anyone know the one where there was a group of animals. I think there was a squirrel, a panda..etc. One time one of them got into trouble at the circus or something? and landed ina net? I never saw it on telly, but my mum had a book of it (long gone this book now). I'm pretty sure it's 80's. I thought they had alvin adn the chipmunks as friends or something?

  • @vintagerosenz it was the shirttales :)

  • Nice work. Click on my channel to see my 80's nostalgic collections; "80's TV Show Openings", "80's Saturday Morning Cartoons", "80's WWF Wrestling" and a "John Hughes Tribute".

  • I miss Saturday morning cartoons. This brought back many memories - thank you.

  • You forgot Wacky Races, She-Ra and The Jetsons?

  • No Smurfs??

  • OMG YOU DONE TOOK ME BACK TO MY CHILDHOOD. SAT MORNING SITTING IN FRONT THE TV, EATING A BOWL OF COCOA PUFFS

  • lol I actually got to watch jem earlier today, they put it back on the air here in america (not sure about anywhere else)

  • I REMEBER all cartoons I was born in 1977

  • Any one else remember Hallmark's the Get-Along-Gang? lol the 80s were best EVAR!!! ;D

  • oh all the memories... thanks for this. It would be so awesome to find some of these as dvd for my kids.

  • You mean Kids Incorporated? Sort of like an early Glee, but with middle school kids. It was so popular the even did a version of it in Japan!

  • sniffle....tear, oh how i miss the days when they played these cartoons. the ones nowadays suck. thanks for sharing. God Bless

  • ahhh rainbow brite ha ha ha I feel old... MY LITTLE pony ooo

  • You left out G.I. Joe.

  • Hello everybody! I am looking or this crazy cartoon about these 2 detectives; one of whom is a dog named Yuk. He is the World's Ugliest Dog and have a doghouse covering his head. Whenever he take the doghouse of his head; all hell break lose. Everyone screams hysterically and passes out. Sometimes earthquakes are started. Anyways, the bad guys are caught when he took that thing off his head. Really funny shit. Another thing, they never ever shown the dogs face. Just the back of his head. LOLOLOL

  • He-Man and She-Ra both air on qubo's Night Owl block in the US, and although I like them, I usually don't watch because I find them dang creepy.

But that's probably just the overabundance of skulls after midnight. ;-D

  • TMNT!!! FTW

  • no thundercats? :/

  • What about the SMURFS!!!!!!

  • Awesome!! Thanks for putting this together, i forgot all about Jem hahaha

This brought back such memories I'm feeling so nostalgic

  • I subscribe to both Netflix and Blockbuster online. So this is not a random NF bashing post. But Blockbuster Online has real customer service you can email. Only reason I'm saying this is to encourage fans, even if you don't do BB online, to write into them and express how much you miss Retro toons like this and that it would be cool if they would get more in their inventory. Don't worry about telling them if you're a subscriber, just write in. Then one place will notice the other and follow.

  • I loved all these cartoons! I miss being a kid in the 80s!

  • hello SHE-RA

  • I remember all this stuff. I'm hitting thirty and to reflect on the simple childhood things, well, it's sad.

  • @evelynann84 I know makes me wanna cry and smile at the same time. So wish I could be 5 again...

  • U missed out thundercats :)

  • I love RARE shows like this. I wish The Hub, or CN would get blocks of these to air on weekend Mornings. Imagine the ratings they could get. All of us retro fans now have kids, nephews, etc.. We would watch, then get the kids in our family to watch. Networks would make money on shows they don't pay to produce now. I wish Discovery was open minded enough to make it's HUB network more available to basic channel line ups for those that don't want to buy or who can't afford higher tiered packages.

  • they reall don't make them like they used too!!

How Sad that they are just remaling classics and gutting them...

  • Aww man I wish I grew up in the 80s,then I wouldn't be bored

  • You didn't watch the SMURFS?

  • @HrafnNordhri No, I could never really get to like them, in fact at one stage as as I kid I hated them! lol

  • OMG!!!! I remember all of those cartoons!!! Thank you so much for making this video. Screw Disney and their live-action crap! This is when Saturday morning cartoons were actually CARTOONS!

  • its art bro

  • i also think there should be a free sky channel just for the 80s cartoons i loved waking up sat mornings and putting on the best cartoons ever today cartoons are not as good for example tom and jerry just to modernised whats going on?

  • You forgot the Smurfs

  • @ACPmoka yeah, i intentionally forgot :)

  • Transformers is the only show in this video that I *like*.

  • i don't know why?? but i always liked JEM intro

  • my 5 year old niece watches my little pony and the carebears now in the new versions and its amazing that she loves them as much as i did when i was 5

  • I remember and loved all of these. Yeah, I'm a guy but I watched every Saturday Morning cartoon I could.

  • Atom Boy (Astro Boy) , He-Man, Transformer were my favorites of your collection (born 1976)

  • If i could have watched this lot i would have gladly stayed 8 years old forever!!!! Miss being an 80s Kid

  • oh yeah baby winnie the pooh its still my favorite i have him tatted on my leg....

  • Transformers is the best!!

  • You missed The Jetsons and Gumbo (the green flexible guy) and She-ra as well as the gummi bears and Richy Rich. Please do another video! :) I loved it.

  • @TREEHOUSE4650 hated the jetsons, loved gumbo but don't remember watching him till the 90's, though he's been around for long before that. I am sure gummi bears is in there somewhere, and I never saw Richy Rich until I was an adult :)

  • @stormsinateacup

What a jerk. What kind of person doesn't like The Jetsons? Rhetorical question.

  • @TREEHOUSE4650 Its "Gumbi"

  • @TREEHOUSE4650 gumby?

  • This was the best!!! Talk about reminiscing! Thank you!

  • man you got them, i love it, thank you so much. Good compilation, they have us looking at all these japanese cartoons with nonsense.

  • Funny how little transformers changed in anyway but stayed so good with graphic boosts along the road

  • I hate Pokemon!

  • @BenGoldking Rainbow Brite , Fraggle Rock, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures, Robotech, Voltron, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, The Littles , Care Bares, She-Ra, Filmmations Ghostbusters.. they're on Netflix now. Be sure to share that info with other retro fans. They're also on Blockbuster ONline. Lets show these online rental places an increase in the amount of Retro Streaming. Maybe that will get them to get more shows available to us. Copy & paste this idea around to others.

  • Born in 86 and omg JEM was my favourite cartooon!!and dungeons and dragons!!They really don't make anything like this anymore!!miss them!!

  • @carm8421

Jem was for kids who were a little older like elementary school age. Jem had a comlex plot. I was born in 82, I was around 3-7 when Jem was on TV, I didn't sit through the cartoon much cause the story was kinda complex but I loved my Jem doll with the lit up ear-rings. Man I wanted that doll sooo bad for X-mas and GOT IT!

  • I love the Berenstain Bears! Love Winnie The Pooh. DuckTails. & Garfield & Friends. Too bad I'm n the early 90's :P

  • I plan on re-making this video eventually :)

  • Suggestion: Maybe add the names to each clip you have in here. Tons of great memories but they are kinda jumbled up.

  • @69bodean I did try to make the cartoons known by making sure the names were included in the clips, but thanks for the advice. I took it, and I added annotations of all names and dates of of the cartoons. Thanks!

  • Could have been so much better,

but the clips were way to short dude.

By the way,the Ducktales theme tune Kicks Ass!

  • @draculasdentures gee thanks. It was hard to do it at the time, as the only software I could use to transfer the .flv video files to .wmv, was not free (none of that kind of software was at that time) and gave me a 5 minute conversion time. I do hope to remake this video sometime.

  • OH! i realy miss the chipmiunks! :O

  • I LOVE Alvin and the Chipmunks (the 80s show, not the modern movie). It's so funny, it still makes me laugh to this day.
