And Winnipeg is a major city. It is the only Canadian city to host the Pan Am Games twice, as well as the 7th largest city in Canada with a metro population of around 750,000.
Anyways the MTS Centre has been approved by Bettman as NHL caliber.
@NessMencesal The MTS Center is gonna have the smallest capacity if Bettman gets stupid again and approved MTS. If the Coyotes don't move to San Francisco, Los Angeles will be a possibility. Los Angeles and the Bay Area have great hockey fans. If you need a hockey franchise to fit Winnipeg, you're looking at the wrong place. The Coyotes used to be in Winnipeg but it's not a good fit there anymore. The best fit is the Anaheim Ducks, Atlanta Thrashers, & Dallas Stars.
