  • Thanks for sharing. I just bought a MS 261 after my 210 died and love the new engine as well. Happy sawing...

  • I have this saw and use it for general cutting of firewood. No matter the size or the hardness of the wood I find it performs incredibly well. Before this saw I had a 45cc poulan that could barely make it through a 5in diameter piece of wood. All I can say is I cut wood for three households and this saw stands up to everything I have thrown at it. Great saw and love the video.

  • surprised with the power of this little saw. I love my ms361 but I'm not strong enough to use it 8+hrs hours in a row, especially for limbing, might consider this one now.

  • thanks for the demo of how much torque this has. I'm considering buying one.

  • is this saw made in Germany? They've started making Stihl chainsaws in China D:

  • I just picked up a 211 it's a nice little saw, it honestly has more power than it should.

  • My god I can't believe the crap the guys getting when he just wanted to show the power this little saw has! He knows like most of us do that it's not intended to those logs so keep your 2 cents about his gear and proper saw choice to yourself. Nice vid and that 211 is quite impressive.

  • people always picking away..... nice saw not my choice of saw for that type of wood but im sure its not for you either. ideal fire wood saw.

  • No this is just a ground saw for limbing and cleanup. For a homeowner model it sees several hours of use a day and just keeps running and running. I just wanted to show how much torque the new strato charged motors have over the stihls of old. I try not to spend a ton on limbing saws in case of a skid loader or the saw being in the wrong place at the wrong time accident, but for $300 this thing is a winner for 35 cc's

  • @woodman2055 Agree with your economics. Any saw to hold up commercially is one tough saw. Good video.

  • omg - so pathetic.

buy a 441 and get your saftey gear on.

  • Wow franz! I have a 441 and maybe you should show me what safety gear you wear so I know what an idiot looks like! I'll wear boots hard hat and gloves at work but chaps have injured more of us than helped. You ever try walking through the brush in chaps with a saw. Worry about your friewood cutting goalie uniform not mine!

  • negro, at least you have a german sthil and not one of these us-crap-saws. just buy our high quality german products and shut up...XD

  • 660 that would help quite a bit. take the rakers down that would also help.

  • PS you better grab a bigger saw if your going to cut more wood than me by noon.

  • Maybe a 660. Why don't you put a video up so we can all see how it's done big brain. This was simply a video showing the new model that stihl came out with yet every idiot with time on their hands has a comment!

  • I;m glad to see you have boot and pants on ,even eye protection. good job woodpecker

  • That really is a sweet little saw. That new air filtration system must kick some ass I'm sure...

I definitely plan on buying one soon....

  • hi dad lol
