I've got them in SW FL. So no surprise you saw them in the keys. At least you got a chance to see them, right. Yup lucky me having them in the back yard. If you get a minute, check the ones I posted under heykayde. Especially the "group" their soooo cute.
Don't you just love them? You could dig a starter burrow with a simple T-pertch. Once that pipe fills up with water, they'll be looking for a new home. Happened to me in my culvert, she moved in with a male in the back yard and they had 6 babies! I've got a few videos of them here. It would really help them out and believe me you'd be so entertained as well as havin a built in insect control. Good luck and thanks for the video.
Yeah it looks like they would be a lot of fun to have in the backyard. Too bad they don't live where I do. I filmed these guys on vacation in the Keys.
I HOPE THESE GUYS ARE DOING WELL! IT MAKES YOU THINK IT MAKES ME THINK ! hOW COME THESE BABIES ARE NOT IN BIG LOVELY TREES? pEACE OUT MY EYES HURT SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING

This species is used to living in the ground so they'll probably do fine in the pipes. Thanks for the response!
