  • Brilliant!

  • at 2:24 william looks scared

  • They're always so mean to Elizabeth 1,

She wasn't ugly, and she was one of the best rulers England ever had, hence The Golden Age

  • @Genesis3Chi They're even meaner to Mary, I mean she didn't kill half as many people as Henry VIII or Elizabeth I but she's the only one called Bloody.

  • So using this to study for my Medieval history final.

  • umm this may be nitpicking but you forgot Jane Grey

  • @lemondragon18 Actually she was never crowned queen...she was just GOING to be crowned but Mary stopped that right away :)

  • @cuddleyduddley123 oh boy did she!

  • @lemondragon18 I really can't blame them for leaving her out of this. XD

  • LoL I can only remember William William Henry stephen Henry Richard John

  • Be careful, Queen Victoria...Elizabeth only has to do 4 more years!

  • can someone acctualy count the kings and queens for me pls xD

Edward Edward Rich the third Henry Henry Ed again Mary one Good Queen Bess

Jimmy Charles and Charles and then

Jim Will Mary Anne a Gloria

George George George George Will Victoria

  • @abukiran i love that part

  • This show is amazing!

  • Crusader Kings 2 General.

  • @RainbowStalin69

    Go back to /vg/ already.

  • Crusader Kings II in a nutshell.

  • And I thought it was hard having to learn all of the US presidents. . .

  • @xxGemini098xx Yeah, I was just remembering that they didn't include Lady Jane Grey, and was a little surprised, to be honest. You'd think that because they always mention the odd details or people on this show that they'd be sure to. Oh, well! It's still a great song and gets the point across better than any other video I've ever seen!

  • This song is so funny

  • i love the songs because it sorta teachs you in fun songs and everything <3 i love dah songs (rly it only teaches you if you listen xD)

  • Grant you I'm from the USA I must admit I LOVE THIS & IT'S "AWESOME."

  • lol same it tells you more fact but stupid school only tells you half but this porgram tells you everything :P

  • The first time I heard this song it sounded like they were singing "... and 3 more Henrys join arsehole." But I've seen this a couple of times now and I know it's "Join our song."

  • Actually I think Matilda does count!! She was Henry the firsts only child so she should have come next however William the conquerers daughter Adela had a son called Stephen. They both wanted the throne so it started a civil war in the end they both reined anyway so... yeah

  • hi

  • Kind of sad how me, a Canadian, knows more about British history then some of the people living there.

  • @KevlarNinja that happens to me and my friend (who also watches horrible histories) at school. in australia.

  • @wiwaxiagirl Dang. Kind of shocking, isn't it?

  • I totally pwned ppl in my class for singing along 2 this song.

  • This song is amazing, I know the chorus off-by-heart and it has come in useful!! However you have to remember that the commonwealth comes between charles one and two and lady Jane grey was technically a queen even if it was for 9 days but Matilda was an empress so she doesn't !!

  • horrible histories taught me more about history than school has

  • @sethkeyrunescape me too...

  • @sethkeyrunescape agreed. especially in the case of the monarchy. For the whole of primary school I believed Elizabeth II succeeded Victoria!

  • This Video is so Good, it gave us an excuse 2 watch U tube in history class

  • I get it, guys. I forgot champagne on purpose so stop replying

  • speed up is a HUGE lol

  • This is a very good comedy. I subscribed to your channel. Can you please subscribe to mine. Thank you.

EDWARD GEORGE EDWARD GEORGE 6 AND QUEEN LIZ 2 COMPLETES THE LIIIIIIIIIST :D

  • @dazzaoconnor1983 They only did that because they said the HANGOVER gang, so they fell over so it looked like he was drunk...

  • @MacZtar99 yeah. George IV was actually very fond of wine. And it's HANOVER, without the G!

  • The actor who plays King Henry VIII is the son of the head teacher at my old primary school ^_^

  • I heard the oddest thing today. I showed my friend this song, and he didn't like it. Go figure!

  • i can never keep up :(

  • lol love how George IV falls over :P

  • love horrible histories love mat and want this job!!

  • I wonder if the slip at 2:43 was planned. I doubt it and they just used it coz it looked fitting enough for a crazy song.

  • They forgot Matilda and jane

  • @thedarklordvoldemot2 Ummm...

    1. Matilda was an Empress... (she wasn't a 'Queen')

    2. Lady Jane Grey only ruled for 9 days

  • @HistoriesHorrible Yeah she was never crowned Queen of England, she just called herself an Empress. :)

  • @StrangeBean She didn't just call herself an Empress- her first husband was the holy roman emperor.

  • When I have kids, I will make them learn this song. :p

  • These actors have THE coolest job in the world!!!

  • That... was exhausting. :D

  • I love horrible historys!!!! :)

  • wheres cromwell

  • @19ididyourmom In 1649 Britain became a republic. Oliver and Richard Cromwell were Lord Protectors, a bit like Kings but not actual Kings. The Monarchy was restored in 1660 with Charles II.

  • William 1 the first English king?.....What a load of Norman shite!

  • The best TV program to learn history!!

Too bad there aren't TV program as good quality as this in Japan.

  • ya know i think they should do a song like this on the other european kings

  • This song should definetly be played for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

  • Its nice to hear a James from Scotland took the throne

  • Absoloutely brilliant. As an adult, I have to say, I love this. It is simply fantastic.

  • i love George the 4th in this. he is sooooooooo funny. 2:43 , 2:48 and 4:07 .LOL ;D ROCK ON JIM

  • My little girl knows this off by heart. Ellee Ray on you tube will get you there. She has also taught me and mum the chorus, and has sparked an interest in history that wasnt there when at school. Hooray for horrible histories.

  • @MegaShaneray 3 inaccuracies within the first 15 seconds of this video. I would be a bit more selective of who you let teach history to your little girl.

  • @Skyswinger what are these then?

  • @ashlawn10h 1) "My enemies stood no chance" Thats hardly a fair statement. The battle of Hastings lasted all morning and afternoon and 90% of the battle went in favour of the English Saxon Army. If Harold had of stayed alive an hour or so longer then darkness would have brought an end to the combat meaning William would have had to retreat until morning. During that time Harolds army would have been reinforced.

That battle could have easily gone the other way for the Normans.

  • @ashlawn10h 2) "They call me the first English King". Who are "they"? Ask any historian and they shall tell you Alfred the Great's grandchild, King Aethelstan of the West Saxon (Wessex) Dynasty was the first king of England. Infact on King Aethelstan coins it says "Rex Totius Britanniae" (King of all Britain).

  • @ashlawn10h 3) "1066 The Domesday book" The Domesday book was commissioned in 1085, completed in 1086. Its real name is The Winchester Roll. Almost 100 years later it was nicknamed The Domesday book. Thanks for asking.

  • i now know the whole song off by heart! :D

  • The girl who plays queen liz, can't remember name

  • I must ask... who's the one playing Victoria?

  • @ElphabaLUVFiyerro Martha Howe-Douglas

  • @theanglez86 really? looks more like Laurence Rickard to me haha... oh well...

  • "Richard the III he's bad" "What?" love that scene

  • @ekmad I know right!

  • 3:44 for whole song

  • I think the Queen should have this as her ringtone... :)

  • @HannVc93 thats if she has a phone lol :)

  • @hussadaughter she has twitter? maybe she's secretly a technology whiz.

  • is this a slower version of the song or am i so used to it that it just seems slower?

  • @welboo200 the second one

  • @MultiBelle22 actually at that time Normandy wasn't part of France so technically William the conquerer wasn't French- and PS his name wasn't William it was Wilegm as William is the modern day translations of that

  • Lol i know the chorus off by heart!

    So happy! :D

    Thumbs up!

    :)

  • whats that thing at eds head at 3:49? xx
