  • I saw this movie many times whenever its on tv and I cried every time I watch this movie The Song of Bernadette that was fifteen years ago; the following year I went to Lourdes and joined the crowd for an evening vigil, it was very cold but i didnt mind as long as I was there to pray not just for me but for my family & friends & also to ask St.Bernadette to pray for all of us, so we could have a world peace. thank you very much Angela for posting this movie & still make me cry through the end.

  • I hope to be good enough to run into her arms in heaven... I dont care about the heaven part just to see her is enough... Cant image the lov e that she has for her childern... A love i never had on earth...

  • o my dear soul! o my little hero!

Here my tears...borrowed from your sanctity.O my glorious sister!

What an inspiring movie! What a true sanctity…

To suffer from bone cancer, do not utter a single complain, do not need even in a small consolation and comfort.. HUMBLE soul which means PERFECTION in God.

Thank you. God bless you. It was a such an encounter with real story…

  • As a child I was awe struck; over whelmed by the spirit and emotional experience of this movie. Now, an older person, re-experiencing it again, I too, " am wondering".

  • Great Movie, one of the best",Holy Mary Mother of God Pray for us Sinners Now, and at the Hour of our Death, Amen",pray for us Bernadette

  • thank you so much for uploading this movie! it's inspiring to believe that even Hollywood can create something that reaches out to so many people to bring them closer to God. Let's pray that they may return to their roots and allow God to use movies to spread His message and love!!

  • Thank you for uploading this. May you have a blessed Easter

  • "You are now in heaven and on earth. Your life begins oh, Bernadette".

Must be one of the most potent and moving lines in cinema history.

  • Thank you so much for posting this excellent film! I am sure that God intervenes in many lives, in many ways great and small, every day of the year. He is speaking, but are we listening? I know I find it difficult sometimes to remember the Gospel amidst all the noise and propaganda of this poor, fallen world. Films like this are a reminder of truth. Sad to say that in these last days, we must always be on guard, and remind ourselves that God's truth will be victorious at His Coming.

  • god bless st bernadette

  • Thank you.

I visited Lourdes in 1989 en route (slowly) to my conversion. This film is exquisite and really captures the truth of what those days must have been like; Bernadette's firm conviction, the responses of church, laity, everyone else... Especially I find Vincent Price's scene at the end to be deeply moving -- he is so torn apart by doubt, anger, hope all at once. I think this is true for many people.

  • if jesus were to go to lourdes he would destroy all the stalls selling the plastic trash!as he did in the temple to the stalls of the filthy jewish money lenders! i was in lourdes very recently and was appalled at the amount of stalls selling so much obvious trash, the church should ban all this crap.

  • I love this movie....And this part always brings tears to the eyes...

  • I watched this film when I was a child, and I have watched it again now I am middle aged, and the film still makes me cry, I enjoyed seeing this clip again, Thank You Very Much

  • I am very happy that you enjoyed watching the movie. It was well worth the time and effort I put in to have it uploaded and available for everyone. You are very welcome. God bless you!

  • My grandfather saw this movie and named me after it, against my mother and father's wishes. I vaguely remember watching the movie when I was little girl. Watching it again is quite humbly, since I resented being named after this movie, for I too have witnessed so many miracles and God's power in my life. It is very humbling to see God's powerful blessings bestowed upon us. May God forgive me and bless those who receive all his gifts! His mercy endures forever!

  • This movie is beautiful. I'm a mess with tears of joy. Pray for us, little Bernadette.

  • I still cry at the ending of this movie. It is one of my favorites, ever since I was a young girl and I am 51 now. I hope that other people will watch this movie and enjoy it as much. Thank you Youtube for having it.

  • I thank you and appreciate your gratitude for the movie "The Song of Bernadette". It was a lot of work to get this great movie on my you tube page. Reading all of the wonderful comments has really made me feel like it was worth my time and effort.

    Thank you

  • I was moved to tears by this wonderful movie. May our Lady be with us in our journey to eternal life. God bless!

  • i saw her incorrupt body at nevers, france last year (2007). shes like sleeping after all these years! the lady from heaven that came down 150 yrs ago must have shared her life of divinity w/ her. the perfection of creation....beautifully preserved forever. merci st bernadette soubirous for not forgetting me. this year i rejoice w/ the millions of people around the globe in celebrating the 150th anniversary of the apparition of mary mother of God! the immaculate conception.

  • Amen. She looks so beautiful as if she is sleeping. Truly, Bernadette is a chosen Angel. God bless

  • Please wil you the hole film let stay on you tube. I like this movie ferry muthe.

Please wil you do this for me?

    Thank you.

    Greatings Trudie.

  • No movie has ever moved me so. Jennifer's performance is remarkable. I always loved this closing scene. I feel God in this film - always.

  • very good film but very sad ending made me cry.

  • Oh I knew what you meant! Sorry for the misunderstanding! Do you have this whole movie? If so where did you get it?

  • Thank you so much for doing this. I saw this movie 47 years ago, & I have loved it every since. To see it again renewed my heart, of the hopes of Heaven. I'm not catholic, but st. Bernadette has always been special to me all of my life.

  • It's never too late to come into the faith. God loves you very much. I never have been more spiritually fulfilled until I renewed my faith in the Catholic Church. I do understand that God loves everyone though

  • I did not say that I was not a Christian. I am a member of the a First Baptist church. My ancestors were from Ireland & probably Catholic and probably why I was always drawn to Saint Bernadette & a few other saints. TY though for your message.

  • I did get the impression that you were Christian. I meant that God loves everyone of all faiths. There are many roads to Christ, I am happy you found yours.
