if you type in ''listen cilla by Elvis'' you can hear that song for real. you are right about that he said listen cilla when he sang this song it was painful for him to lose that woman.but she was young and stupid.
Tthis version was only sang a couple of weeks before that version. i chose this one just because there are a few of the listen cilla version on youtube so thought id put one up that wasnt on youtube. That one also has a more emotional ending, with Elvis joining in with the backing singers. it has also been said by Charlie Hodge i think that during that version El had tears running down his cheek and he moved to the edge of the stage singing directly to Cilla. i wish there was footage of it.

Hearing him sing "It's Midnight" is truly moving. I do not think he should ever be apologetic to Cilla for who he was. She wanted who he was, then wanted to change him ..... not good. thank you very much. and yes it is trully moving and i believe he meant this song to priscilla. from what ive read, Elvis did love her and wanted her back and she loved him too, yet his lifestyle he led was such a demanding one yet i think she never realised how much she meant to him. i think to this day, she lives in regret and feels guilty for playing a part in his demise almost. i think they both always loved each other though, she was his girl.
