The design in the male reproductive system, I think is amazing. For the sperm to get to the egg in the woman's reproductive tract, the essential components must all work together correctly. You have the fructose in the semen to provide the sperm energy for the journey; the alkaline mucus to raise the pH of the woman's vaginal secretions so some of the sperm survive... The list goes on.

I think about where life came from all the time (I am majoring in biology) and the more I think about it the more atheist I become. We know how such complicated systems arise- they are the result of a series of small and gradual changes due to random mutations, a chance few of which were beneficial. Over time, the accumulation of beneficial mutations creates complex and amazing systems.
An agnostic is someone who believes that there is an equal chance of there being a god and there not being a god, an atheist is someone who believes that there probably is not, and a theist is someone who believes that there probably is. I would definitely place my bets on there not being one. The more we learn about science, the less things there are left that can be explained by simply saying "god did it."
And think about it- if a complex being like a human could only have been created by a complex being like a god, then a complex being like a god must have also been created by another complex being, which must also have been created by another complex being, and so on. Creationism rests on the idea that nothing can come from nowhere, so the same must apply to god. So you see, the idea of a god doesn't answer any questions as to how it all began, but only complicates them.
Just because you don't have an explanation for something does not mean that God is the explanation. We have been finding new explanations for previously unknown phenomena for all of history. We didn't know how traits that neither parent carried could be passed on to offspring until we discovered recessive genes. Imagine if the scientists had just given up and said "Oh, well this must be evidence for God, then."

PART 2) This tampering with genes creates many defective sperm, but there is a small chance they will produce a sperm with new adaptations that make it stronger. Variety creates opportunity. Then these myriad sperm are selected through trial by fire and the best sperm wins. If evolution didn't happen, this system would make no sense. Why encourage mutation if all mutations are bad? Why create variety if organisms don't change anyway?

When a sperm joined the egg, it produced a baby. Say it was a boy, the sperm does not have to go back to the father to say what it did. The sperm acts imediately by taking the information that it learned and uses it to create sperm in the boy's body at a later age. Hope that makes sense.

Why would evolution bring about creatures that cannot breed, and bring them about at a regular and predictable rate? The strongest and most successful create the weakest and least successful as a means to propagate the species, that does make sense does it! So why would God make defective sperms and eggs? A perplexing question isn't it, that I think comes down to faith.
If a creature cannot breed, then it is caused by a genetic anomaly, mutation, or interbreeding with still compatible, yet genetically different species. EX : Donkey + Horse = Mule.
Natural selection will favor species and mutations that enhance a creature's survival in a given environment. If a trait is unfavorable, members with that trait are less likely to breed. Simple as that.
Great question at the end though. Why would an almighty, all intelligent God allow defective sex cells?

The seminal contents are all provided by the male sex glands, mostly by the prostate and the seminal vesicles. Any one of those contents missing and the system doesn't work. You'll get no sperm arriving at the egg and no fertilisation. Plus there are the sequence of events that occur at fertilisation too, such as the sperm losing its tail as it enters the egg. No way all this can come into existance all at the same time by chance

The design in the male reproductive system, I think is amazing. For the sperm to get to the egg in the woman's reproductive tract, the essential components must all work together correctly. You have the fructose in the semen to provide the sperm energy for the journey; the alkaline mucus to raise the pH of the woman's vaginal secretions so some of the sperm survive... The list goes on.

the problem is that u people read translations that was did by those who were 1000 years before us and didnt knew about these realities and so they translated it according to their understanding.
The TEXT on the other hand has never been changed. e.g. in Surah inshiqaaq Allah talks about the planets (tabaq) but the translation was done as levels. Allah said there will be 3 or more people to go to another planet, Famalahum La yuminon-> and will not believe!

Early organisms that produced sperm would be able to insert their genes into other organisms, and therefore the genes that produced sperm would be passed on to the next generation. I think about where life came from all the time (I am majoring in biology) and the more I think about it the more atheist I become. We know how such complicated systems arise- they are the result of a series of small and gradual changes due to random mutations, a chance few of which were beneficial. Over time, the accumulation of beneficial mutations creates complex and amazing systems.

An agnostic is someone who believes that there is an equal chance of there being a god and there not being a god, an atheist is someone who believes that there probably is not, and a theist is someone who believes that there probably is. I would definitely place my bets on there not being one. The more we learn about science, the less things there are left that can be explained by simply saying "god did it."

Creationism rests on the idea that nothing can come from nowhere, so the same must apply to god. Just because you don't have an explanation for something does not mean that God is the explanation. We have been finding new explanations for previously unknown phenomena for all of history. We didn't know how traits that neither parent carried could be passed on to offspring until we discovered recessive genes. Imagine if the scientists had just given up and said "Oh, well this must be evidence for God, then."

See, when you use incorrect spelling and grammar, you leave your writing up to multiple interpretations, many of which are bound to be different from what you meant.

PART 1) Sperm are a great example of an adaptation that only natural selection could lead to. What is the purpose of creating millions of identical sperm carrying identical information? Why would the female reproductive system then try to kill most of these? The truth is the sperm are not identical. During meiosis, the genes are mixed randomly, creating maximum variety. When a batch is produced, it dies and is replaced - this continuous reproduction allows mutations to accumulate.

PART 2) This tampering with genes creates many defective sperm, but there is a small chance they will produce a sperm with new adaptations that make it stronger. Variety creates opportunity. Then these myriad sperm are selected through trial by fire and the best sperm wins. If evolution didn't happen, this system would make no sense. Why encourage mutation if all mutations are bad? Why create variety if organisms don't change anyway?

- If A God made sperm, then there would only be one cell per load, since only one cell is needed to fertilize the egg.
- There would only be sperm cells in sperm when the couple were wishing to have a child as the cells have no reason to be there.
- The quran states that a man can sleep with his wife when he wants, why would Allah risk making her pregnant against their will.
- In that case Allah does not give freedom of choice in that matter.
- All this is easy for a god that is "all-powerful".

@Plecter sir, you haven't been patient enought to listen to the whole video, the number of sperms are kept high to maximise the chance of at least some sperms passing the vatal acid inside the female.if there was one sperm, it would get inactivated by the womans acid.millions of sperms die as a result of this acid.if there was one sperm, there would be no fertilisation.and besides lots of liquid entering the woman adds pleasure

Why did he design it so that women has acids that kill sperm cells?
There is no purpose to this if it was designed by a god.
However when you look at it from an evolution standpoint everything makes sense.
God is supposed to be something perfect, something almighty...but it seems his designs are filled with errors...meaning that no thing has consciously designed nature.

Regardless, the fact of evolution does not prove or disprove anything other than that things evolve. Which says nothing more than that the physical universe is always changing and that all things down to subatomic particles have motion. Motion = change = evolution as pieces rearrange.
That evolution is not perfect does not prove or disprove god AT ALL. For mutations and imperfections do for evolution what chaos does in physics. It leads to entropy and new patterns. ALLways a beautiful design.

Cells work 2gether w/ other cells 2 create multicellular organisms. This working 2gether is spurred by the fact the cells will die if they do not. So they seek each other out, and in contact with eachother, xchange info via surface tissues. 1 of them finds a compound/protien that can merge/connect them. They then co-create thru mitosis. This occurs for millions of years & you have human beings. The mother always carries the info needed for sperm to know what 2 do. She made the man to begin with!

Information in this context refers to genetic information. All organic compounds contain some genetic material.
It's like the directions for a new car, they come in the glove compartment. Little changes in the environment, like diet, affect what compounds are available in your body when genetic material is replicated, over time, such build up in a new environment, individual physiological changes can alter genetic expression(evolve info). This, quick-er-form of evolution is called Epigenetics.

God told adam and eve to go forth and multiply. that was then, in their time. applicable to our time, what you're not supposed to do is have sex outside of marriage. what people do is separate the pleasure from the purpose, ie , have sex for pleasure and not to procreate. hope that helps. :)

ANSWER: RECURSION
When a sperm joined the egg, it produced a baby. Say it was a boy, the sperm does not have to go back to the father to say what it did. The sperm acts imediately by taking the information that it learned and uses it to create sperm in the boy's body at a later age. Hope that makes sense.

I'll make it short. Our reproductive system is the result of hundreds of millions of years of evolution, natural selection and adaptation. Why fall back on the God cop-out when we know what really happened?

Oh yeah, hundreds of millions of years of evolution verses God - let's examine the arguments in the defects that result. Why would evolution bring about creatures that cannot breed, and bring them about at a regular and predictable rate? The strongest and most successful create the weakest and least successful as a means to propagate the species, that does make sense does it! So why would God make defective sperms and eggs? A perplexing question isn't it, that I think comes down to faith.

If a creature cannot breed, then it is caused by a genetic anomaly, mutation, or interbreeding with still compatible, yet genetically different species. EX : Donkey + Horse = Mule.
Natural selection will favor species and mutations that enhance a creature's survival in a given environment. If a trait is unfavorable, members with that trait are less likely to breed. Simple as that.
Great question at the end though. Why would an almighty, all intelligent God allow defective sex cells?

XXY's cannot breed, not in any species, yet they occur in the human species between 1:500 - 1:1000 live male births, the additional X can be donated by either parent or by imperfect cell division after fertilisation. IF evolution were the whole story why does this occur when the ability to breed is the cornerstone of evolution?

The presence of a genetic anomaly does not disprove evolution.... It actually supports the theory. Evolution is an imperfect process after all.
It also goes against the god theory. Why would an all knowing, all powerful, all wise god deliberately create an imperfect reproductive process that allows for harmful mutations?

Yeah I wasn't actually making a statement I was asking a question. I'm not convinced the evolution theory and I can't deny God, it's a dilemma. It would be like walking in to a room full of people and walking up to one and say "you don't exist" when I know full well that person does exist. Everybody who can make sperms makes imperfect sperms as well, and the same is true for ova, I wonder if that could be the result of the sin inherent in people?
