Hi: Can this CR123 size 10,000 mAh high capacity nickel hydride metal (Ni-MH) rechargeable batteries blow off the Olight 800 Lumen Led Torch? Will it auto increase current draw for 4 CR123 size at (3v x 4pc) x 10,000mAh = 120W power or auto fix Draw back at 9.6W Power?
Olight Led does not have voltage regulation control.
Normal Battery was using (3v x 4)x 800mAh=9.6W
if change all battery to 4 CR123 size 3v with 10,000mAh, will it create 120W power & Double to 1600 Lumen Brighness or more
check out the torch its 4100 lumens more than likely a lot brighter than this one. this is the only light ive seen start stuff one fire!! and its only $100
@akafadam We have an Trustfire 2300L and it puts out about 1800 lumens , the Olight 90 puts out about 2200 lumems, so the Olight R 90 is about 400 lumens more than the Trustfire 2300.
@martinaee DX (DealExtreme) has one for $155 tested to 1625LM 7180K @ 6500mA, if you're willing to deal with 3 weeks of shipping outside of asia. sku.47754
Really appreciated your comments especially when its a positive one and it will encourage us further to do better in the future since we're into the latest when it comes to lighting Green.
I want this video on my Pulse unit.

What kind of batteries does that thing use?
Bendc1970A1 1 year ago
@Bendc1970A1 technically it uses 18650s but they are housed inside a proprietary battery module (kinda like laptop batteries).

Yes... I most definitely want one... but for $450 I'll say no thank you sir.
Most likely I'll get a TK40 eventually or something similar from Fenix or 4Sevens. Not nearly as powerful, but everything is relative lol.
