It's so refreshing to hear a new take on this sort of thing. I've gotten tired of listening to all the excuses. It's time for somebody to do something!
Good commentary, but you have to wonder if getting rid of one or two people is going to change anything within, as DioGuardi put it, the "System." I'd like to see Leiter or Panetta gone as much as the next guy, but I don't think it's going to solve anything
If Obama actually had gotten rid of anybody in charge, I think you'd see how much of a difference making a change near the top makes. If nothing else, it would instill more confidence in the President, which would lead to more action.
Based on these results (3 strikes), it's inescapable to conclude that the Obama officials had no thorught about risk. The latest revelations about Michael Leiter continuing his vacation after the security breach makes me think everyone has the Celebrity/Desiree Rogers problem. They are star-struck on themselves and the O administration that they can't do their "real jobs."

More commentary like this is sorely needed.

Agree. I didn't realize how important my accounting class es would be-- now I wish I'd paid more attention!

I've never heard this type of a reasoned assessment of the problem. Thanks very much, Cong. DioGuardi.
