Yeah, AlJazeera is owned by the royal family of Qatar which enjoys a fusional relationship with America's and the West's global corporate-military empire so it's not exactly independent... however it is still the best and least biased English-language news mass media by far! I think the Maoists might actually do a good job- if they actually follow Maoist philosophy. Less money for the rich and more money for the poor is exactly what their country needs. And the government is a republic of mostly liberal parties, so they shouldn't have trouble making changes, but at the same time won't have too much power of their own. Looks like progress is on the way.
