Its all an act. And if the Swords where likely not even sharp. Many people have the misconception that blocking blade edge against blade edge is how swords are used. I am no expert but that's would ruin you sword very quickly. On the other hand what these performers did took skill. So good job !

They are many place in Thailand it depend on what kind of Krabi you want to learn ( Chaiya style, original Ayudhaya, Phahuyut, etc.) ?

But if you have short time to study, i prefer Weapon Mauy thai Chiya. because they teaching anyone from kid to adult and they also have a good instruction, so it's will be lot easier to learn than other.

You have no real ideal about martisl arts do you. Yes, it was all plannned out as it should be so that no one will get hurt and they can show case the art. They give you a look at what types of weapons and how they are applied. This is a High level demo and if you don't see that than you need some back ground in the sword.

@sifujamesstacy Hi, most of what you said was correct except this being a high level demo.It was only a mid level demo-much better can be seen in Bangkok(krung thep) at the good tourist shows

There were sections of glaring mistakes and deliberate openings not being taken.

I do a bit of sword work and they are pretty good but once you learn swords you can spot things in a performance's mistakes.
