  • @OfficeVPMan From interviews I’ve seen, all the owner is asking parents to do is take the child outside until it quiets down -- something a responsible parent should do anyway. Why is that too much to ask?

  • I agree with the restaurant owner. Its rude of the parents to bring the noise in there. if your child is tired...buy them a hotdog and take them to the park.

  • You whine more than the babies.what other bullshit do you post about that you get the facts wrong ?

  • Officevpman -- you suck! If you come in where I work next door I'll throw you out with kids or without kids bitch.

  • while we were there our friends and family a total of 13 people had dinner there, it was Very expensive for the quality of the food, inside looked very outdated and unclean for my liking. dont know the owner but i can respect her choice, it is her restaurant afterall and we all know some people dont teach their kids RESPECT, PRIDE or Compassion. they just let them run amuk. i would not eat there again (unless they renovate, update the menu and work on them prices

  • What I see going on with these "idiots" who have a problem with an American choosing to do with her own personal belongings as she sees fit is a lot of wasted energy getting mad and bitching and moaning about how it's not right that someone ask you to be a polite parent and put your fork down for a minute and do your job as a parent. Unless YOUR meal is more important than taking care of your child when it cries. IS IT? It's called consideration. --yes I am a mother.

  • @moonbeamflare fyi, i've made a career as a chef and restauranteur and been a customer of many establishments. if the owner of a restaurant or a host/hostess doesn't ask their customer to remove a screaming child, i have NEVER had the first qualm about doing it myself. i don't expect to pay good money to enjoy a night free of cooking with my significant other or friends only to have a neglected brat screaming at the top of their lungs the whole time. I stand up and applaud this business!

  • That whole area is full of retards. You have kids and a wife, and travel three retards deep. I wouldn't want that shit in my sea food shack either.

  • OfficeVPMan - guess you don't really know what you are talking about since she has had an increase in here business since then. And BTW, it's HER business and her RIGHT to not serve anyone she sees fit for ANY reason that she wants to. There are several cafes and restaurants around airports that are now refusing to serve ANY TSA agents and they are told they are not allowed in the place of business if they are in uniform or they know them.

  • tagert one but not other don't want screaming kids but will put up with a loud adult this women is a fucked up bitch

  • Actually nevermind i retract my comments, the restaurant owner is a bitch

  • The business at her restaurant has actually increased too from what ive heard

  • My dog in this fight is her comments about autistic children. She is a hag and her restaurant is a DUMP.

  • @OfficeVPMan and how do you expect to be taken seriously at all when you're calling names like a 2nd grader? i take that back, most 2nd graders behave better than this.....AND IF THEY DIDN'T I WOULDN'T LET THEM IN MY RESTAURANT EITHER and that includes you!

  • That's right, when I'm trying to decide what to do for a nice night out it's a fucking airplane ticket I run for. What a moronic comparison. You really should educate yourself before you open your mouth and prove to the rest of the world what an idiot you are. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO THE RESTAURANT! boycott it if there's such a big deal over it. how would you like it if someone told you how to run YOUR business when you put your blood and sweat into it?

  • I don't blame people for saying they should take a screaming child outside to calm down, but seriously, how many screaming children do you get that you feel the need to put up a sign? I've worked at a restaurant before, and I've been to plenty. Very rarely have I ever experienced a screaming children. As a mother of two young children, I'm shocked at the animosity from some of these posts. I know not everyone has children (thank God for that), but try to be a little understanding.

  • DOn't know anything about the quality of the restaurant, but if they're taking action to protect their adult customers from the oblivious parents with unruly children I applaud them. If they are so inconsiderate that they don't feel the need to take a screeming infant outside until it calms down, I don't see why I should be subjected to the racket. And if their older children haven't been taught to behave in public, they shouldn't have brought them to a restaurant in the first place.

  • You're totally right. It's nasty and disgusting and yes Brenda is desperate.

What she told the Chambliss woman proves just how filthy of a human being she is.

Carolina Beach deserves alot better than that squat hole but oh well.

  • Like most amateur reporters you failed to get the correct facts. She never said that she would toss anyone out, but simply will ask parents to take their unruly, disruptive children outside to calm them down before coming back inside. I for one do not want to hear screaming kids while I am spending good money to eat out. You are disgrace to Carolina Beach! Shame on you for bashing a good business owner who has been apart of Carolina beach for more years that you have probably lived there.

  • She owns the place, she pays the bills, if she does not want screaming kids in her place that is her right.......I have had more than a few dinners out disrupted by children crying loudly for extended periods of time.....This is certainly one of those issues that will have strong opinions........and as always words get twisted and the story blows up............it's just so simple.....if you want to go and eat there if you don't go elsewhere.........I am the mother of 2 grown children.

  • They really should have posted the "No screaming" sign next to the "No smoking" sign! LOL

  • What a shame that someone your age is so ignorant. No one was being threatened with being thrown out, nor was anything said about spilling a drink. The sign simply said screaming kids won't be tolerated. If a child is having a screaming melt down, the parent is asked to take the kid outside to get them to calm down... THAT'S ALL! Wow. I bet you're still holding on to the hope that the nigerian prince that emailed you is gonna transfer a fortune into your bank account! LMAO! Jerk.

  • Next time I'm in town I'm heading for Olde Salty's for two reasons: 1) No screaming kids. 2) You won't be there.

  • This sign just made me a regular costumer of Olde Salty's. You may love your kids unconditionally, but the rest of us don't! If you can't control you kids take them outside until they calm down. And as far as the economy is concerned their business is UP! So bitch all you want but I think you're going to see a lot more of these signs in the coming months....

    I'm now a regular!!!!
