If more people with only limited knowledge of so- called "classical" music would look beyond the ubiquitous 2nd piano concerto they would discover a composer of pure genius, in my opinion one of the very greatest ever

I've heard many recordings of this without the first section. His use of voices and multiple parts replicates the use of bells in the Orthodox Church so well....it's very awe inspiring. Hard to believe he was only in a church a few times in his life.
